I hear you, never been a fan of Irvine Meadows Amp! The lawn area is tremendously steep like on the side of a mountain. Get your Billy Goat boots on, your going to need them! Thank you baby Jesus I got tickets to the Mayan show

It won't be an OMG! rarities set. It will be the standard radio fare of "Madness", "Starlight", "Time Is Running Out", et al with maybe, maybe a heavier track thrown in.

 

Remember … this thing is sponsored by Guitar Center and DirecTV, likely to be aired on the AXS TV channel as part of the "Guitar Center Sessions" series.

 

I actually expect this to be similar to the Psycho tour shows as far as set lists are concerned. These gigs are their warmup shows for the summer festival run, they have to throw a few bones at us!!!

I didn't initially make the connection with a site selling tickets, but AXS is that TV channel that no one gets, that broadcasted Coachella?

 

Right, I believe that channel is only available to Directv subscribers

I'm upset about not going, but very happy for those who managed to get tickets. Hopefully we'll get some videos if any rarities are played, or they'll stream it or something since it is being sponsored by DirecTV.

 

Linkin Park did this a few months back where they played a show at the Wltern in LA for Directv. They played a full show and then were interviewed after and it all culminated on a show called Guitar Center Sessions on AXS TV.

 

And yes about 75% of the concert portion was shown on TV
