  1. do you guys think they will do another date ? , planning to buy seat for first and if theres a second one i'll buy standing tickets , i know the US aren't the craziest crowd so dont know if it worth it .

Another question how is NY in January apart from cold as hell, can you go out i mean with the necessary clothes?

They'll add a 2nd show if the first sells well and they see theirs a strong demand for it. Also, depending on the Barclays schedule, if they do a second night in the NYC area they could do it at The Garden or Long Island or Newark.

  2. This discussion has been had so many times. I personally have a much better time at a gig when I can clearly see the band and I'm not squished against someone's back. I like to sing and dance/jump along. At the back, I feel awkward about jumping about unless I'm with a group of people, and most of the people I know also like to be at the front!

The thing is, it makes no difference to you, really, whether other people prefer to queue up all day or not, so I don't know why you're bothered by it enough to comment.

I'm not bothered by it, I was just wondering what the big deal about being at the barrier is. Now, if the show was at say the Troubadour or the Roxy, then hell yeah barrier all day! But at such a huge venue as Staples Center or whatever arena, it just doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps it's the new fans that heard Dead Inside and need Matt's sweat all over them or something I don't know! I guess I'm just old school in my about the whole thing.

  3. Yard house at LA Live is the spot, come say hello and have a good time no matter where you sit/stand at the show!

On a side note, I'm 29 I've been to many Rock shows from various venues, I still don't understand the whole "I must be the first at the barrier thing!" It truly makes zero sense to me! With the past tours from Muse @ Staples Center, I've found that the sound is much bigger and louder from the middle to back of the floor than at the barrier. At the barrier, and I've been to two shows at it. Both instances had way too much bass and we could hardly hear the vocals (in which are a staple in a Muse show)!

  4. Hello guys,

    Something confusing here

When I click on TICKET for this venue it says :Presale tickets for this event go on sale Wednesday, October 28 at 10:00 AM local time.

    http://muse.shop.ticketstoday.com/basket.aspx?Action=AddTickets&eventId=168543

Be ready on October 21, 23, and 28.

I would trust Muse's website than the tickets today website, I think the Oct 21st on sale time is correct. Just check daily if anything changes.

  5. Maybe they need the time off to do their holiday shopping. :chuckle:

I'm surprised nothing's been announced yet tbh, I can't even remember the last time they only played once in LA. Even when they did the Mayan they had Weenie Roast as a second gig.

its really odd, considering the next 2 nights at Staples are open I believe. Maybe Monday they'll announce a big batch of North American dates. Someone needs to tweet the boys and ask wth is the deal.

  6. I, for one, thought it would be fairly obvious the reason they haven't announced the majority of their gigs yet is because allowing a buttload of drones to fly around is a huge safety concern. This notion times, oh say anywhere from 30-50 concert venues at least that have to be individually negotiated? I don't know who would expect instantaneous results.

It just seems odd to me that were only two and a half months away from USA gigs (well the start of them at least) and only four have been announced so far.

  7. What are the chances that they'll add another LA gig? :shifty:

I'm fighting my usual impulse to book flights and such so early that then I'm stuck and miss the second/third night. The Staples calendar still has a suspicious gap between the Muse gig on the 18th and the Clippers game on the 21st.

The 19th has to be the most unconfirmed guarantee!!!

  8. This may be that one tour where i'd rather be in the seats than the GA/Floor. If this tour was an end stage design, then yes GA/Floor all day. Ive seen Metallica in the round before with both seats and floor tickets and seats were way better because i could see everything.

I'm also thinking more USA gigs will be added between Mexico City and Portland. The LA gigs will be the last ones before Christmas.

  9. the AXS system is the worst ever..... plain and simply. I managed to get some to LA though!

for some reason, The Mayan show was SOOOOOOOOO MUCH easier getting tickets than today for Staples Center! I failed through the muse.mu presale, i waited like a dummy for 1 hour in the waiting room for the KROQ presale and nothing. i finally said FUCK IT at around 11:15am, ill settle for STUBHUB. i randomly said ok, 1 more try at 1:30pm via the KROQ presale and manged to get a pair of seats in Section 111. IM complaining because AXS gives out better seats and GA/FLOOR tickets later on beyond the onsale time! What a fucking shit system AXS is! At the end of the day im sooo happy that i managed to get a pair of great seats for night 1.

  10. I think it's safe to say there will be a 2nd LA show on the 19th, and possibly a 3rd one. Seems strange to take 3 weeks off, do 4 shows in Mexico, then take another 3 weeks off and do 6 shows in the western U.S. But, what do I know?

If they had 6,000 people in Portland last time, odds are they'll draw roughly the same size crowd. That wouldn't even be enough to fill the lower bowl in a 360 configuration. All I can figure is they'll have to sell the upper level tickets for like $20 or less if they want anybody up there at all.

2 Staple Center shows on the 18th-19th. What do you think of adding 1 or 2 more shows to The Forum after those 2 say for the 21st-22nd? Staples Center is a busy venue with all the sports teams around that time.
