Yeah, Austin tends to have really friendly people. They were passing out hemp-smoking kits in front of the venue. From Houston, it was about 3 hours. It should have been shorter, but traffic was horrendous the whole week because of SXSW. It's the same time to drive from my house.

I'll suggest it in the thread. It should probably be in a couple weeks though.

Oh and my parents' surprise 25th anniversary is coming up. They're going to be so shocked!

3 times in 3 days I was gone 2 additional days for SXSW.

All I did was walk up to the will call counter and ask if they were selling tickets for the event. They said no, but then another guy asked me where I live. I said Ft. Worth, he gave me a pass, and said not to tell anyone.

It happens to me too, especially the movie posters.

Mind-numbing, but entertaining

I was thinking that in the summertime, or sometime soon on the weekend, there should be some kind of DFW meet for everyone that went to the Ft. Worth gig. Obviously, not everyone that went was from the area, but at least some of us could chat about the shows.

My 3 days of Muse was amazing. I had such extreme luck with getting into the SXSW gig.

I had class to go to Monday, but thankfully it wasn't until 1 pm, so I had a bit of time to rest. I didn't get home Sunday until 9 pm.

Aahh everything was just awesome. Houston had an amazing crowd, everyone was jumping and singing along. Oddly enough, Feeling Good got one of the biggest responses in Ft. Worth. I had so much luck with getting into the SXSW gig. I got a VIP pass and got in for free.

I told them about Muse coming to Ft. Worth, and hthe entertainment director said "I'll see what I can do". He did say I'm on the list for ACL. Muse will most likely play there.

I've got disco ball Mardis Gras beads, a light-up green boa, and green & blue Bellamy glasses so far. I could get some shamrock beads. I thought I was buying glow-in-the-dark hairspay, but it turns out that it's only visible under a blacklight.

Even though I doubt you read this, prepare for party times in Fort Worth on St. Paddy's Day.
