Okay then. I love the bassline, The vocals (falsetto mainly) and the guitar solo. I actually like the synths as well just to conclude on the controversial-ness.

The fact that your opinion is now void because you are "a fan of Guiding Light" is kinda ridiculous though.

I feel like if you listened to The Resistance alone, max volume, all the way through...more people would appreciate it. Ive come to the conclusion it's a very underrated album. Uprising through United States of Eurasia is brilliant. Guiding Light and Unnatural Selection slow it down only a bit, and it picks up at Exogenesis. I have to be in the right mood for I Belong To You, it's still ridiculous.
. Also, about the songs individually, what track on The Resistance could actually challenge for best Muse song?If you counted Exogenesis 1-3 as one song, that would be a contender. Resistance/USoE and MK Ultra are also good contenders as well, imo though.

Undisclosed Desires is a good song and has gotten better live. Before it was quite dull and seemed like it was missing something. NSC isn't a good song, and I'm glad of the three concerts I saw this year...they never played it. Guiding Light is a good song though, and I would have probably enjoyed seeing it at least once.

Ive been skipping Space Dementia a lot lately while listening to OoS. I have to be in the right mood to listen to it nowadays, it actually seems quite boring.

On topic though, I enjoy KoC as a closer. It's epic. Though it quickly lost it's appeal as this tour progressed. Take A Bow needs to be returned please.

Map of The Problematique has gotten better over the years live and should permanently stay on the setlist. It's way better than MK Ultra live as well.

Hyper Music is often seen as very mediocre.
It can be. I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. I don't listen to it as much as other Muse songs.

Yes, I do. The only angsty teenager songs I can think of is Showbiz, and to a certain degree Falling Down and Escape I guess.
Unintended is a cheesy love song. What's not cheesy about it?
Just because it's a love song, doesn't automatically make it cheese worthy. It's actually quite a moving song.
Also, I consider Cave, Uno, and Muscle Museum to be fairly angsty. So that makes it Showbiz, Falling Down, Uno, Cave, Escape, and MM. That's half the album. Just take a look at the lyrics and it's pretty obvious.

Not much anyway.Do you actually listen to any of the songs off Showbiz? Not sure what makes Unintended cheesy...and Sober is just a really bad song about loving to drink. Not really cheesy, just a crap ass song.

I don't really know where to put this, this seemed like the best place. I was stumbling over the internet and came across this time lapsed video of Coachella. You don't particularly hear Muse, but you see their set for a few seconds near the end. It's really neat to watch, since it's all sped up and is basically time lapse.
