It's nice as you can imagine. Been really busy with work, though. Haven't had much time to go out or anything.

Just saw the locked Hawaii thread you started. Yeah, when I went to go see Muse in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I talked to their media manager Tom Kirk (we were by the soundboard and he usually works there). I gave him a Hawaii flag, a lei and other local goodies for the band, told him I was from Hawaii, and he said, "Oh, we're going there soon." So we'll see if they announce a Honolulu date; hopefully he didn't mean for a vacation! Another batch of U.S. dates are set to be announced "soon." Hopefully they make a stop between North America and Australia, where they're rumored to play in November. Looks like there's a two-week gap between dates so it's possible. We'll see.

Last night was crazy! Went to the gig a bit buzzed and we hung around the back - we decided we didn't want to deal with the queue stress from the day before. But it was probably the most fun I had at a Muse gig!

LOL! Random but funny Muse story! Will getting drunk be your strategy in discovering new music? =p No, but it is interesting that we both became Muse fans after visiting Cali...

Lucky you got to see them live! It's hard to choose a favorite song... right now, I'd say "Stockholm Syndrome." That guitar riff is badass. And I submitted a question but it wasn't chosen in the final top 30. I asked Matt what sports he played in school, since he mentioned in an interview that he played sports, but never said which ones.

Maybe "Sunburn" would be my song of the day today. I already know how to play the intro on the piano but now I'm learning how to play the rest of the song.

Mine was okay. Watched HAARP then went outside and watched my sister and her friend light up some fireworks. Funny how soon we had to adjust from the break! And thanks for the invite! Will check out your website!

No, I'm waiting for them to announce their headlining tour. I'm flying out to see Franz, and a week later I'm going to the Philippines and Vegas, so I still need to save up for that Muse trip anyways. =) I can't wait until the new album comes out!

Thanks again for recommending the new Franz Ferdinand album. I was listening to it yesterday while I was cleaning/reorganizing my room, and again this morning while heading to work. You're right, I do like the single version of "Lucid Dreams" better, but I also kinda dig that electronic/beat breakdown thing at the end of the album version too. Haven't gotten around to listening to FOTC yet, though. I'll get to it soon enough!

Thanks for those videos! I like how "Ladies of the World" uses the old scenario of being so caught up in a fantasy that they forget they were in an ordinary bar. And "Robots" was the one FOTC song I had in my music library. I cracked up so hard when I first heard it, and remember being blown away by the binary solo, lol.
