Exogenisis Part 3, not really the biggest fan of Resistance..Undisclosed Desires probably being my favorite track but i listened to Exo 3 the other night and it was like listening to it for the first time, awesome track
Also i would totally be down for a BH&R anniversary tour as some people were talking about earlier, or atleast give us an anniversary show!

Muscle Museum (we all deserve to see this live)
Take a Bow
Hyper Music
Citizen erased
Space Dementia
My first Muse gig back in 07 i saw enough songs to make up most peoples lists : Sunburn,Bliss, Microcuts, Butterflies and Hurricanes,City of Delusion all in one gig, no one can tell me that it wasnt their best setlist of that tour
-
So does anyone know where its actually been announced its the next single? I couldnt find it throughout the people trashing it on the last 6 pages
-
So they played Uprising a little earlier in the set? Maybe Defector for the encore opener?
-
Does the band really think that confetti and streamers make Mercy main-set-closing material?
Yeah not liking Mercy in that spot, now Bliss with hullabaloons...that was a main set closer to see
-
Supremacy was cool like the first two gigs they brought it back, time for something new, and Uprising can go away forever, hopefully that and Resistance fuck off after this festival circuit, of course we all know they won't though
-
I honestly was pumped to hear they debuted Revolt, I'd rather watch the video of that being played on youtube for the first time then another video of Dead star at this point, still thats a pretty awesome setlist
-
Resistance needs to go somewhere, I'd take hearing Undisclosed desires live over that anyday
-
People were pretty excited about Animals coming back, but other than the stellar T2L visuals for it in arenas, it was boring live, imo.
Honestly, just about everything from T2L was kind of boring live.
Except Follow Me, which was stellar, and way better than on the album.
Follow Me was pretty awesome live for the first half of the T2L era, then at the 'second half' i feel like he gave up pushing the difficult parts, the "I will always keep you safe" from Live at Rome compared to something from 2012 is a little weaker
Edit: Agreed about Unsustainable being an awesome opener, even if its a little long, the second time i saw them for the T2l tour they opened with Isolated system, wouldve been much happier seeing Unsustainable open again
-
Anyone else not really excited by Animals returning? Seemed like everyone was going crazy over it returning the other night, Ill honestly be a little bummed if i have to sit through that song again live if it means i dont hear another much more special T2L song *cough*bringbackpanicstation*cough*
-
The first round of jumpsuits made them look like the Michelin Man
-
Way too much time between album release and tour date announcements, imo.
In other news, I like the "drones suits" better as a jacket and pants. Much better. Still gives a similar impression, without being as awkward.
Of course, I also read that they did it because of the go-karting jokes, and part of me is giving in to peer pressure...
Agreed, Ive been really wishing they would just wear normal clothes for a show and then noticed they made it into jacket/pants combo...i think they're gonna look back at the original ones from the first Psycho tour with the red lines on it and think "wtf were we doing?' lol
-
I would have expected Panic Station instead of Supremacy, tbh.
If I got Assassin and Fury (or even just Fury) I probably wouldn't have cared what the rest of the set was, though.
I guess Panic Station doesn't fit with the theme they're (Matt) is trying to put out there for these shows? Maybe once a couple more headline sets not on a festival start happening they'll throw it in, I'll be surprised if its not played once
-
Not unless there's fluffy jackets.
It's actually a pretty hilarious turn of events, last tour i was pissed at them for not playing anything old/rare, and now this tour that's exactly what they're doing and I'm pissed at them for not playing Panic Station
-
Now we just need to #bringbackpanicstation, someone's gotta be with me on that
-
Can't wait for the US tour when Resistance will still be a staple of the set and the piano song will be USoE
-
Well Uno is a single lol
-
The audio quality/mixing on point to the level of the shockingly good Austin City Limits 2012 (2013?) show that's out there. That show from T2L era sounded better than most Muse professional releases.
That one was definitely pretty awesome, only problem i had with that one is that Chris's mic seemed to be mixed a little higher than Matt's if i remember correctly, could hear his backing vocals louder than Matts at most points
-
So can I assume someones recording this stream for the unlucky people who cant get it to work?
-
So are we gonna see a full pro shot video of this gig or no?
-
As of right now this song does absolutely nothing for me, I've listened to aftermath, Revolt and even Drones much more than this...maybe i just need to keep listening and it'll click right now i don't get it though lol
-
I get you there, there is a bit of Gerard Way about that bit. The whole sentiment of the song is pretty Danger Days really.
Definitely, even the siren in the beginning kind of reminded me for some reason, although to me Revolt kicks any song on that albums (Danger Days not Drones) ass from a completely biased perspective
-
Just heard Mercy on the commercial for the new Batman video game and got pretty psyched, seemed pretty quick for it to be on the tv commercial circuit but i'll take it
-
I actually kinda enjoy it, to me it's just a straight forward rock song without any bombast or epic-ness, which i don't think I've heard from Muse in a while, obviously thats all subjective though..also the part where Matt sings "you can make this world WATCHEWWW WANTT" i was immediatley reminded of gerard way for some reason lol
Edit: I hope Matt does that bad ass falsetto scream into the last chorus they buried in the mix Live
