Messed up original post trying to add pics.
Selling my beloved Manson MA-1 Blackbird. Nothing modified, left it "as-is" given its a variant model of the MA-1 and was part of a very limited run.
Bought direct from Mansons under a year ago. Selling due to having to grow up at last...
In absolutely perfect nick. I've had it serviced twice since getting it to make sure its at its best. Needs a wee clean just now but will get that sorted out.
Will also throw in the Manson's Hiscox hard case as part of the deal.
Looking for £800 shipped (for definite in the UK, likely that I would need to adjust for overseas shipping). Bought for £899 from Mansons. Spoke to Adrian at Guitar Works who suggested he'd list it on the factory preowned section for £899 again given it was a limited run variation model.
Pics below, PM me please....

It even got nominated for the 2013 board awards as best moment. It didn't win, because apparently there's a world outside of K&T and it voted for something else.
pornogenic k&t
also joyo voodoo octave appeared today, will give it a go next week.
in the meantime, have a happy new year k&t

Blue box. I didn't realise how quiet it is before I bought it.
easy mod to fix that, just involved removing a cap
-
Merry Christmas K&T!
Aw Bought myself that for xmas
Yeah it was me, I think Macaroon said he already had one but it didn't like fuzz or something. The kaoss pad is gone though
May have bought a joyo voodoo octave for my auto-christmas
-
Santa got me a micro pog and a zoom g3 (surprisingly awesome!)
-
Good to see that they're still associating RATM with christmas, but it's probably a coincidence
Also, sort of related, but the OC-3 is so glitchy when run through a fuzz. Not in the muse assassin grand omega bosses live at the mayan 2015.flac way either
An OC-3 is the kind of pedal you get from santa for being naughty all year

The christmas present is on the main website now. I think Marconi will like it
Macaroon, you mean
And I am liking it too, great show that one

I remember that time I had irn bru. Apparently you can't get it in the US.
Was that during a performance?
And no idea, never tried it, but it's the only pedal I know of that's supposed to be a copy of a co... is this a NIN thread now?
Anyway:

I don't know really. Also keep in mind that there were different versions of the fulltone. I recently discovered that the earlier ones used BC108 transistors, and the later ones used some silicon ones I can't remember the name of.
/Niel
So they sound pretty different. No idea which one Sam had, but probably one of the later ones.
According to 'Murica, the dye used in Bru causes cancer. So there's that. But then, owning guns is legal over there....
Nah was before a performance thankfully, only damage done was a tube knocked out of place. That thing was built like a tank!
Sam had a black knob version (so a later one). That demo sounds alright though...

Scott I saw this today and thought of you

Would've been better if they covered some NIN
Not enough swearing, not a proper scottish person
I remember when the wheels broke on my marshall vba cab. Thing collspsed forward in a slow-mo comedy style
What about the joyo clone?
Is it actually any good? Saw the MXR clone ofthe foxxtone too, but reading mixed reviews

Alternatives to a fulltone ultimate octave...go
(Damn you James)

We also got sunburn and butterflies and hurricanes
My top three would be
1. Muse at Emirates, it was so over the top, my first time seeing muse and the setlist was the perfect balance between old and new,
2.Royal Blood's Brighton home coming Christmas celebration, it was intimate, Christmasey and everyone there knew the band
3. Muse at Brighton dome, the last date of the UK psycho tour, we got bliss, MOTP, the groove, Uno and the debut of dead inside. The crowd was insane and it was such a laugh
I should add I think Rainbows only UK date that I have tickets too next year could top the list. The thought of Ritchie Blackmore playing rock again in rainbow form after all these years is enough to make me giddy already
Also seeing ELO next year so that should be good too
Aw min, Rainbow would be fantastic

DAMN YOU! :'(
Saw them again a few days later at download 2010 too
-
For me -
1 -Muse SECC Glasgow 2006 - Bliss & Assassin ftw. We got Exo Politics the night before in Aberdeen though...
2 - Radiohead glasgow green 2008. Jonny was on fire that night, so damn good
3 - rage against the machine finsbury park 2010. Just cos
-
Jesus christ that sounds gigantic.
I remember Sam wanking over his FUO pedals years back. Thought he was bullshitting!
-
How bad is the waiting list for a DR-1?
-
Anyone got a bass big muff they're willing to part with relatively cheap? Or a Sovtek muff...
-
Keep your hopes up, there is always a chance to get some rarities! Hell, I'm in North America and I've seen Dead Star x2, Fury, Agitated, The Groove, Bliss, Apocalypse Please, and I've only see Resistance and onwards tours.
Assassin & exo politics here.
Also got a 90% success rate of Bliss being played whenever i see them....
-
Yup the fact I didn't hear it on the Psycho tour sent me deep into a hopeless pain. The memory of Bliss keeps it at bay however.
I think Dead Star (cult-like live show status aside) is one of my absolute favourite muse songs and I'm very sad that it's unlikely I'll ever see it.
Download festival 2015 ftw

Not a whole lot of information regarding gear, but still a good read.
Assuming the Neve simulator is this mystery turkish distortion pedal?
-
I'm sure he had another new one delivered after the one above, as well as a quite similar older guitar with different body woods and pickup I think.
18 days is a joke, this guy could have delivered it faster...
