  1. I guess I'm going to have to make a batch at the same time at this rate because a lot of people are asking for one, understandably. The whole reason I wanted one is I wasn't happy with any of the modern reissues either. The footprint is too large and I think the gain is personally over excessive. Cutting it back seems to bring more lows back in.

Might have to redesign the board tonight to match the animated and get the design ready for cases if the demand is there. Got 20 odd Voskhod boards made but I misprinted some part labels and it sounded so tinny if I followed it exactly *whoops*

Theres only really three Muff clones in smaller enclosures that I can think of - the COG Tarkin, the Shift Line Pi, and the SFX Micro Fuzz.

All are in 1590 cases, cost a fucking bomb, and are based on the same big muff circuit (v7c green russian).

Only the shift line is a true Muff clone, being fair, though. And you have to get it from bloody Russia!

  2. Anyone in the market for a macbook pro?

Just upgraded, so this one is surplus now.

    Looking for £250.

2011 13 inch macbook pro - in good working order except for the battery being a wee bit quick to lose its charge (3-4 hours as opposed to 8-9 when new).

Hard drive upgraded to a 250gb solid state drive, running OSX Ep Capitan, and otherwise runs very well.

    Original PSU included.

Happy to post in uk for free.

  5. This is exactly what I've got set up as a patch on my pod, and it sounds pretty accurate. No envelope filter though, I just have a reverb behind the delay in the chain and there's no noticable attack on the strings.

Alright, so I've asked this probably about a dozen times already around here, but does anyone have ANY idea what goes into the KoC fuzz sound during the whammy bit at all? It's just a really thick and heavy fuzz that clips really easily and still manages to maintain a lot of clarity on the notes. I've gotten real close on my HD500 but everytime I try to achieve the tone it's either too thick and fizz-less, or incredibly fizzy and trebley with no low end.

This also goes for the SMBH tone from T2L, for both the general fuzz sound and the synth effect during the choruses. I've tried a lot of things out to get close to the sound for SMBH as well, but yet again, there's still a lot missing, especially for the electronic synthy sounding ping during the choruses.

    KOC - keeley fuzz head

SMBH - some kind of bitcrusher/suboctave effect, probably from the axe fx

  6. Digitech Whammy 5 - smaller, can be powered off of a normal 9v PSU, very good - £80 posted

Joyo Voodoo Octave fuzz - basically an octavia clone - £15 posted

Little Bear R Attack - a cool Rat clone with three modes - vintage, turbo, and dirty - £20 posted

Digitech Hardwire CM-2 Tube distortion - £30 posted, boxed

  7. Oh, thanks for that! I didn't really think of accidentally flipping it. On/off/on it is then. I kind of want to get two black toggle switches so the entire guitar is blacked out. Got one of those Allparts Mighty Mite switches and it was really hard to push so I just put a Switchcraft in the Cort, but if I'm gonna have 2 switches... where can I find black Gotoh switches in America? :stunned:

Speaking of switches. The moron that bought the blue guitar never touched an expensive guitar with a switchcraft switch, so he complained that I sold him a guitar with a faulty switch because the middle position was "wiggly" (read: you didn't need to break your finger to flip the switch) and asked for a $250 "partial refund". Like, you want new Bareknuckles with that stiff Chinese switch to your liking, too, good sir ? Asking him to return my guitar and he's saying he won't until I refund all this money. That's not how internet shopping works, you moron

Tell him to make like a tree, and fuck off.

I cant stand idiots, honestly, people like that do my head in

  8. selling some peddles:

Digitech Whammy 5 (unboxed, good condition) - £70

Joyo Voodoo Octave (fulltone ultimate octave clone) - £20

Digitech Hardwire CM-2 (boxed, great condition, and does a passable animato tone on a budget) - £40

  9. Can someone who owns a manson with a sustainer do me a massive favour.....

Need a sample of it holding the note of B for 10-20 seconds (with a slight bend towards the end) on harmonic mode. (think how MB uses the sustainer before playing the riffs at the end of SS)

Preferably recorded DI into an interface so I can run it through amplitube/revalver.

    Ta.....
