  1. Yes James, I did that's my favorite style of strat. 70s headstock, vintage tint on maple, and all black. I ended up giving that neck to lee, the bareknuckle strat set and neck I bought from you are now in it.
  2. That stealth... I don't know what it is, but that guitar just looks "right" in every way.
  3. Exactly what I was thinking James! Some nice high quality YouTube videos/sound demos I need the damn manual though.. No idea where to start
  4. Right time and right place. Local musician needed money for the bands studio time, so ironically he sold his home studio and recording mic. Just bought a Korg D16xd and Studio Projects C1 condenser mic/stand/cable, all for $240. Absolute steal. Very excited to dive into this. I don't know massive amounts about recording, but it seems like a decent setup.
  5. Found a great craigslist deal tonight, just a quick hour drive away. 18 year old Joe Pass Epiphone (1994). Not exactly a vintage year by any means, but it was the first they came out. Original owner, he bought it when he was 19. He was really emotional about it, kinda sad. The pots need to be tightened, cleaned, needs some screws, pickguard has a crack. He installed bartolinis in it a few years after he got it. All things considered, it is a great guitar. Very beautiful. Only $200. I love craigslist.
  6. Last i heard was somewhere near $10,000 for a booth. In order to go, you need to either be a vendor, work for a vendor, have a music shop/distribution license, or be a close guest. Something along those lines... Exclusive super special secret club
  7. It played like a dream, and according to my research, it cost between $6,000 - $8,000. Stupid bullshit gody piece
  8. Did some work on this today... It's made by a company called Warrior. Total fucking dad rocking up and down the block. Gody curves, engraved back plates, abalone pickup covers, binding, and a sword inlay. So embarrassing, had to share.
  9. If you don't mind me asking, what do you do outside of building? The job with steady income!
  10. I think it looks great as is, I'd definitely keep it. It needs to have it to complete that gold top vibe. There's a few gold tops that had an etched cream pickguard, I think your logo would logo or some other design would look great on it! Regardless, the shape compliments the upper horn well, very smooth. Also, do you know of any good books on inlay work?
  11. Definitely scratch plate! I think that soft white/ivory creme is beautiful
  12. It's going super Things are coming along smoothly, haven't been able to do much work lately (10-12 hour work shifts, 7am out time). I don't anticipate too much longer. I'm aiming for before the end of the month.
  13. This is going to sound like a weird question, but I think you've said that the sunburst is the best one. What is the worst one? Not exactly meaning that it's bad or terrible in anyway, but there has to be one that is the least enchanting of the lot.
  14. Very nice, beautiful work! Are these for anyone, or just for fun? Have you heard of this? I'm considering building it... Seems extremely useful. http://www.mykaguitars.com/tools/neckpocketjig/
