  1. Tooooooo late. Fur is gone. And i've washed, so the pen (yep I used biro) and blood have gone too. All I have left is a furry wolf waistcoat and tail. I didn't see your Halloween photos btw. And i'm sure they MUST exist somewhere!?

Rum is like whiskey, but made of sugar. And doesn't make me feel ill.

I could email you their first EP if you like?

Nooooooooo! I must get back to sleeping well. I need to do uni work. Shit loads. And sleeping well definitely helps there. I won't get anything done tomorrow now.

    Yay!

  2. No idea if there are any photos actually. Very maybe not. But I have scars and stitching over my arms, face and neck with bits of black fur coming out of the seams, and a furry black waistcoat. Theme was twisted fairy tale, so I went as a wolf who had killed the woodcutter and taken his skin as a cunning disguise/leisure suit. There were a lot of red riding hoods at the party. An awesome Pinocchio. And my favourite was George (and his magic medicine), medicine consisting of a spoon coated in burnt white substance. I thought that was pretty inventive in my drunken state. LOTS of rum. Possibly too much. My room is tilting. Rum > whiskey. :yesey:

They released it in memory of your visit. TRUFAX. I may have played them to you once before. LONG ago. But they released their first proper EP (as this band - singer/guitarist were in another before) at the end of the summer, and I went to see them with Khai. Good times! I should sleep. It's 5.15am now. My sleep pattern will be fucked for weeks now! Come back to England!

  3. Very, very, veeeeerry drunk. Oh dear. I am a wolf wearing human skin! :awesome: Late halloween party. Yay!

Listening to this on loop at 4.30am:

    Yaaaay!
  4. :phu: < That's what i'm doing in my profile photo. It was originally at Helen, and now it's at YOU!

My beard won't grow thick enough. This is a constant area of sadness for me. I can't grow it for more than 4 days before it looks shabby. I wish I could have more sun, so yes. Although I want winter back for Christmas. Because it's awesome then. For 2 weeks. Actually i am loving autumn. It's beautiful! All the colours! What is Elvira?

    Yaaaaaaay!

  5. But that will FOIL me! :supersad: You're in league with Helen aren't you!?

    Well, you'd hope.

No, they're still like matchsticks. Matchsticks of iron. Sadly my beard growing skills are rubbish. :( I need my thickest leather coat when traversing about town now. It's COLD! I don't like this. 3 costumes?! What were they?

I have WINE! Red WINE! :awesome::dance: I may be getting tipsy on it. :shifty:

  6. Still buried. Well... not buried, but slightly blocked. I have yet to encase maidens either, much to my woe.

Chris Corner must have a room full of your letters by now.

I didn't dress up. I spent Halloween in marshes outside of Cardiff as the night drew in. (Went on a 9 hour walk with two friends, and it got dark before we hit the edges of Cardiff!). Although i'm going to the drama society Halloween party on Thurs. Nicole is making me a furry wolf waistcoat for it. How was your Halloween?

I could always do with more coffee and cake. But currently I have wine. Which is even better. :yesey:

  7. Lemsip is amazing! Which is a shame as i've run out. And my cold feels worse this morning. :( NOOOoo! My ear is fine now. Just too much wax. Do not want one punctured. And I shall lure maidens into my ear! It will be a feat of awesomeness, and one which will get me sainted in years to come.

5 new IAMX tracks... 1 is a melancholic claustrophobic ballad, 2 are rockier electro ones, 1 is Gogol Bordello (eastern European music) gone electro(!), and 1 is a dark atmospheric electronic one. But that could be all wrong too. Difficult to tell with the camera quality! Only one of those were heavy though (in a Nature of Inviting/Kiss+Swallow-ish way), so it's not likely to be the heavier album I was kind of hoping for. All do sound good/very promising to me though! Sounds quite KOWA-ish but with slightly more added electronic stuff going on. And with added violin. Although no proper mp3s for 5 more months now. :(

Booo! I hate jobs. I want a masked ball! But now I need to get up. In fact i'm going to have to rush to get to rehearsal!

  8. Miss you too, cake fiend.

I've been ill! So ill. *paws for sympathy* :supersad: Well... fairly ill. I had a minor (if painful) ear infection and a bad cold. Which was both painful and nasty. And rather unattractive I should think. Well, not that you could see it. My ear didn't literally swell up like a bullfrog attempting to mate. Thankfully. But maybe i'll try that one day! Lure in maidens with an enormous red ear. "Hello my pretty, climb inside my ear and i'll take you away from this place." But anyway, the first has gone (although it's left my right ear blocked up AGAIN! Argh! Don't like. It never really cleared properly after Spain. :indiff:), and the cold is dying. I am killing it with lemsip. But despite all that, I still managed to get into a play again this year! :awesome: This time i'm going to be an idiotic knight in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night." And I need to caper. So i'm practising my caper. HARD. In fact i've got my first rehearsal tomorrow. And it's nearly 3am. Spent my evening finding/compiling dodgy live clips of new IAMX songs! Time well spent. Possibly. Bertha keeps dying. I've been trying to write this for the last half hour. Hopefully it'll work! How's yooou?

  9. No, it was a mad, bearded, award winning poet, who titled his tour: "Did I Mention the Free Wine?" Which may have had something to do with why we went. And there was a lot of free wine. Good times. Poetry wasn't bad too!

I've been asked to be in a small Shakespeare scene for this evening to welcome the Drama Society freshers. Frantically trying to learn lines! Argh. How's the land of Texas? I have it's sand in my Uni room!

  10. I had an evening of free wine! Yay! Free wine and poetry. I took advantage. :ninja:

  11. Was randomly watching them last night. These are still my favourites:

ANYWAY! You said you were going to tell me about that last night! :awesome:

  12. Yep! Just about to start packing, and leaving tomorrow morning at 6.50am for the airport! Excited! Hopefully they'll be internet access there. If not, i'm sure they'll be an internet cafe or something somewhere nearby!

  13. Indian is awesome.

I need coffee. I think I may have become addicted after being regularly fed it at work. Girlfriend is coming down to Haddenham today, after her two weeks at the Edinburgh Festival! :awesome:

  14. Mr Lizard may even do his "spontaneous courtship dance" for us:

I hope you end up liking Indian then!

EDIT: Oh, and I have to show you this, as it killed me last week! It's comedy show where a member of one team reads out either a true fact from their lives, or a random lie they've never seen before, and the other team need to work out whether it's true or a lie. And this is possibly the longest and funniest one ever:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Go85jQSezw

  15. :awesome:

Ah ID. I see. But here you can drink in your home when under age. You only have police round if it's annoyed neighbours and then judged to be loud enough to be antisocial. There are certainly never any raids though!

Me and Khai always thought it would be funny to spend Christmas in a ridiculously bleak place, like industrial Siberia, or the bit of Ukraine which as a nuclear disaster area and has only just been reopened for people to go in again!

I'll kill one for you.

  16. Or maybe you could get me a poncho! Or a Texan belt of some kind. I need a new belt. Or a funny hat! But sand is still good too.

Weird. I've never seen or heard of a party being broken up over here. What's carding?

So do I! It's the one we had lunch at. We used to visit it every year when I was young, just passing through on our way to Yorkshire. I used to get really excited at Christmas, as Father Christmas' legs would be sticking out the chimney there. :xmas: Never got to stay there though. :(

You don't like the bulls? Apparently they just drive them into the sea where we are. The shallows that is! There's no killing them. Still seems a bit cruel to me, but hey.

  17. I'm looking at a lost medieval genre, called the King in Disguise, or King and Subject ballads. It's quite political, so my aim is to see how popular literature of the time was used politically. It's going well so far!

I'm back in Oxfordshire working at the garage again. I'll be in South Spain when you're here though!

  18. I only had one pint and 2 glasses of red. Emily only had 2 large glasses of red though! But she hadn't eaten I guess. Ended up telling us about her new found attraction to women!

Do cops usually break up parties there?!

Small book, but pretty rare! I can't find this edition anywhere else, and other editions from the publisher that produced it are 10-20 years after this one was owned (from a 21 June 1873 date scrawled inside the cover). It's pretty battered though! The cover is falling off it!

Unless you wanted to blow a couple of hundred pounds on a night you wouldn't be able to afford to stay there either! Sadly. I want to stay HERE dammit! :(

Not really! go to villa. Sit in the sun. Watch the carnival and the bulls. :yesey:

The temperature is actually very humid here too! 19C (66F) and 86% humidity tonight.

  19. No, just sand will do me. :yesey:

He'd been painting his room. I was slightly drunk. Not as drunk as Emily though! Fun times.

    Raided?

Just a book of poetry! Seems mostly very Christian and moral, but there are some fun ones in there too from a quick glance through. Mostly got it for the cover, age, and illustrations though! It is a beautiful town. One of the best in England, and pretty much unspoilt. Almost every house is between 200-400 years old, with the odd bit even older! Expensive place though!

    Leaving on the 4th September!

A storm's started here! You'd love it. Pouring with rain.

  20. You getting me a cactus then?

I did hunt Khai down! Finally got hold of him and dragged him to Thame. Although he was late. As he was covered in paint. Apparently. It was a wine night though! Just me, Emily, Khai, and Bill. And a lot of debauched talk about sex.

    Woo!

Went to Stamford today! Had lunch there at a beautiful old coaching inn with my parents, then I bought a random but beautiful 150 year old book for £2 (EDIT: i've just found out via wikipedia that he was an American poet - Henry Longfellow!), and a 80 year old collection of medieval ballads for £50, which has done illustrations for 2 of my ballads! Good day. :yesey:

  21. Sandsandsandsand.

Sadly not! I can't get hold of him. He's not answering his phone. But I did see him the other night!

  22. You can take me to the parks then!

    Cuntomers.

    I do! :awesome:

Going out tonight with some old friends.

  23. I don't know if there'd be time for Camden, Covent Garden and wine in parks! I'm not even sure where the parks are. Or the best pubs. I don't know London that well!

I very rarely get tips! Yes. Release the owls. That would be helpful.

Not really. Maybe the elbow patches. Or some El Paso sand. I like sand. I try to ensure I carry sand about on my person at all times.
