  1. Hey Tee thanks for the teddy bear outside a phone booth fridge magnet! Looks pretty sweet on my fridge haha. And that flyer too, whatever that means! Haha Deb I was expecting a lot of singing but thankfully it was the majority of the crowd singing and not any particular individual. Chris's singing on Undisclosed Desires was soothing!! Yay 500 pages! Over the span of what, 3 years?
  2. OMG LIZ. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! One word: MAD!!! I'm in the process of transferring those tracks to my phone. This is just electrifying. Can't wait for the rest! I woke up with the mother of all headaches and I really dragged myself to work! But it was fine by lunchtime. I was oogling at pictures all day yesterday so I guess the excitement is still lingering, before the dreaded PMS kicks in. If you guys watch Channel NewsAsia, Muse are going to be on tomorrow evening at 10.20pm! It's an interview.
  3. Was nice to have met all of you guys! Sorry if i seemed a little distracted, I was really tired. The meet at the after party was my friend's (Nurul) idea and I was sceptical about them being there. But we went anyway and I was surprised to learn that Dom was still there at 3-ish this morning. We waited a bit and managed to get in for free to just snap a few photos with him. And then Tom Kirk was there too. Me: Tom, I'm a huge fan of your videos, man. *big and sincere grin* Tom: Wow, really?! Did you enjoy the show? *wide smile* Me: Yes, it was awesome. (couldn't think of anything better to say at 4 am) We asked him about Matt & Chris and he said, "Well you know, Chris is a family guy so... And Matt, he's pretty tired. His voice, (does the stroke on his adam's apple)" Then proceeded with some snaps. Morgan came out when they were all leaving, together with Dom Anderson and a few others, whom I can't put a name to their familiar faces. They were so down to earth, it didn't feel like you were among stars.
  4. That's retarded! Well good luck getting to the barrier. Rendezvous with us after the show ok.
  5. Â Yes oh my the screen does look slim. But I'm not complaining! :D Hahaha so we'll see you 3 and then the rest too! Â OMG LIZ THANK YOU FOR BOOTLEGGING IT. Â P.s: Don't get caught on the way in!!!!!! Â Â Kay-a this has screwed up my priorities man. I should really be asleep right now.
  6. Thank you thank you! It's a pretty neat little thing, this twitter is. Â I know right! The thing beside the Kawai piano which, according to Miele, looked like a barbeque set got us all puzzled. Wonder what it really is! Â Actually I think I've read somewhere that the doors open at 5.30pm. Thing is I will be coming pretty late from work. You can definitely catch Miele in the line and Tee though! I've told Miele that we should rendezvous at the 7-11 @ Leisure Park after the show, which is a mall opposite the Indoor Stadium. Shouldn't be hard to find it, believe me. Â Man I'm too excited beyond words right now and can't sleep too. And I start work at 9.30 am laters.
  7. Yeah stalking them can be scarily fun. Stalking just sounds wrong... Following them is uber fun. Â Just came back from a lepak session with Miele and her bf! Â Â A taste of things to come. Â Â Â Â Â Oh I'm going to try and Twitter the setlist on the fly! Yes yes i have twitter. http://twitter.com/x_leev
  8. Yeah Deb in the flesh! Though it's not really an exclusive meet, as there were like 50 others st the airport! Basically it all started with the infamous twitter pic from perth's departure entrance, posted at about 4pm. It didn't take long to do the math: 4 hours plus plane journey from 5pm probably, will give you an arrival of about 9pm. There were about 6-7 flights from Perth arriving around this time. One was Qantas, the other an SQ. My friend and me met up and arrived at the airport at 8pm. Qantas was confirmed to arrive at 8.44pm. We asked the counter about the SQ one, which they said would arrive at 9.20pm. SWEET. If Qantas at Terminal 1 isn't the one, we decided that we will make a mad dash to Terminal 3 to welcome the SQ one. There was time so we ate a quick plate of rojak (yumm). At 8.40pm, we went up to the arrivals hall to find many groups of fans who were there for the same purpose (damn). Some could be seen holding CD cases, books, posters... The works. We also spotted Laurietta and Andre Alabons from LAMC. That's it. This is definitely the right Terminal! So we waited patiently. It was about 9.15 when we saw them slowly walking towards the baggage belt! Everyone was screaming (mostly guys believe it or not) and cameras were flashing. My friend's awesome girlfriend had a friend who works in the airport, so he took our camera and actually told DOM & MATT to pose!! They knew they couldn't come out from this human blockade-d exit so they walked down to the next one which made EVRYONE follow and even ran to this exit. They finally stepped out of the sliding glass doors to the now pumped up crowd. People were shoving things to them to sign. My friend took pictures on the digicam ( while I made use of his iPhone to document the whole thing. (video on its way . I especially love the ending to this awesome home-made documentary). That was my eventful Monday evening. Wasn't such a blue Monday thankfully. Edit:
  9. We've got the entrance plan. http://www.lamcproductions.com/bnoentranceplan Who's going to be there at 10am?
  10. YOU'RE WELCOME KAK FAZ! It was no trouble really. And it was fun hanging out with you Musers! Wow you guys are hardcore luge-ers!! Even I have done it only once. Alright. Though you'll have to take it from me from work at Bugis, if you plan to take it on the 3rd itself. Yep I'll be working, on course actually. Mail me the details then.
  11. Haha Aida nice review! Love your writing style. Like as if you're working for a magazine. S'alright, I love to play host! Anytime you guys want to check into the ward, you know who to ask eh? Tee hope you get cheaper ones then!
  12. Tee there's a guy from FB who wants to sell a couple of pen A tix at $200 each. You want to deal with him? Liz honestly I haven't tried the meatballs from IKEA so I can't help you with that. Yes the one at Tampines is the newer one. It's like just 15 min bus ride from my home lol. Cycling is one of my favourite things to do! And there is a new badass skate park at East Coast. You should check it out.
  13. Oh yeah Deb we've got Maybank ATMs around here. There is a Maybank building even! You can see it from the Esplanade. I think 3 days should be enough rush-time.
  14. That would be awesome! I've replied to your pm. KIll the Killers! Don't worry we'll rock out to Muse tunes on the way to the place!
  15. Aww guys I'm really sorry to hear about the killers. Like someone on the FB page said, having their shows in Asia cancelled but then still have their last show in Aus in Feb is just plain ROTTEN.
  16. tat's nice! wish i got friends like tat too. it's a very very nice hotel but i've not stayed there before. you won't b the only first timer here.
  17. Wow Fairmont is pretty expensive don't you think? But if you still plan to stay there, it's exactly at City Hall Station, which is 3 stops away from Kallang Station. Not that far if you have to take a cab. With midnight charge, maybe about S$7?
  18. Woah what a greedy scalper. Hope the others prices aren't obscene. Technically you can walk back, but it's going to take about half hour IF you walk fast. I wouldn't walk but I guess if ramai2 not too bad lah. Miele, the last train leaves Kallang station (nearest to Indoor Stadium) about 1130pm which is darn early. No doubt you'll miss that one. Bus services will definitely have after that, maybe till about 12-ish? That would be awesome! I don't see why not.
  19. Wahahaha. Sorry Miele even I don't know that, yet. Let me ask the train control station later after work. Tee did u find a seller yet? I should've bought an extra ticket, and then trade it with one of your prized possessions.
  20. No worries Lya! The singapore flyer costs about S$30 for a half hr ride. Come on tee sell off some of your limited edition stuff to fund your tix
  21. Ok you Singapore tourist-noobs (LOL hope you don't get offended). Awesome place to chillax, The Esplanade! Good for couples or groups of friends or even if you're alone trying to reminisce about the past. You can also visit our "Awesome!!!" Merlion statue which spits out water continuously, just on the other side of the river. And there's also the Singapore Flyer which is a direct copy of the London Eye. In front of The Esplanade is the Marina Square where it's your regular shopping mall. Good to come here if you're planning to eat at the many fast food restaurants or foodcourt before chlling at The Esplanade. (Btw this area is near the F1 grand stand) Not far from here is Suntec City which is a huge shopping centre by Singapore standards. Then for those about to club, I salute you. You can check out the many pubs and clubs and restaurants (pretty atas and expensive i might add) at Clarke Quay. If you walk at night, there's a spot where they have a field with electronic kite flyers. They have lazers and weird UFO stuff attached to them. Then there's Orchard Road where people spend money on shopping. Think of it as Bukit Bintang. There's HMV(!), Borders, Kinokuniya... lots of 7-11s... If you want to catch a midnight or even crazy late movie, watch at Cineleisure, opposite HMV. For really touristy stuff, go to the island at the south of Singapore, called Sentosa. You can go there by cable car, bus, drive in... It'a a decent place to hang out at the beach, or if you'd like to be more adventurous you can try the MEGAZIP and Luge, which is a half go-kart, half toboggan ride down the hill. That was uber fun. I can't think of anymore places right now. Anyone else care to contribute?
  22. Whoo ramai jugak. Pen A is officially sold out. About time eh? There's a meet and greet contest, though "Participants must be citizens or legal residents of Singapore". @ Miele Yeah lepak at the stadium, hopefully they will soundcheck!
  23. Oh racing isn't my thing though the new Need For Speed is pretty good! It's been good here so far, nothing eventful. What about you? I'm seeing them on the 3rd of next month! :D:D Take care now. Bye bye then.
