to be honest, jobby is totally right, muse seem to don`t give a fuck on the old times die hard fans if they don`t change the sets in Europe. they do a rock Album like drones and tell everyone they bring back the old times and then they play the most poppy sets ever - I mean they have possibilities like no other band on the planet (just think of a 4 song piano set in the middle or as an encore with Songs like space dementia, sunburn, new Born or in your world) and all they do is play their poppiest Chart hits to attract the fans who just know them from the Radio - wtf???

well ok, after that Globalist video from yesterday I sure will never ever sell my ticket - unless they play madness or feeling good twice a night or so

thats maybe the biggest shame - space dementia for example was one of the highlights of every gig ages ago or new born or butterflies or sunburn - just to mention a few. Everyone (also the "chart" fans) would love a 3-5 song piano session in the middle of the gig - but these times are over it seems

it seems that he really has to concentrate on singing more than before, otherwise he wouldn`t drop the guitar on the songs mentioned earlier. It´s really a shame for ticket prices like we have now but maybe it`s really his age that makes all that necessary, I don`t know.... On the other hand there are bands that are much older than muse (McCartney, U2, Stones to mention a few of them) that do 25+ song gigs. I would prefer a 25 full song gig without Matt at the guitar to what happened yesterday in Mexico.

last arena tour was just 2 songs less at most venues, stadiums were like that - as there is 1 album more now and no stadiums for this tour - it should be that length if there wasn`t the problems mentioned on my other posting

Have you guys thought that the whole set is as is it due to Matts weakness (voice and fitness). - Mainly pop songs that are easy to sing. - He doesn`t play guitar on nearly half of the songs. - Breaks after 3 or 4 songs all the time. - Rarely any piano songs left. It`s really worse than I expected and it`s still a best of thing and no concept concert (as they told us earlier) at all. But maybe that will change in the states or with the Europe gigs - I really hope for 3 more full songs in Europe with (at least) 1 showbiz track and ce added to the current (shitty) setlist. If it all stays like that I`m really thinking about selling my ticket as I dislike half of the songs - and there really would be much better alternatives for all of them.

So there was a rehearsal in L.A. and Matt talked about what will be played in Norway, wtf? At least it sounds like the sets will become better again - for me CE, The Globalist and The Handler alone would be a nice excuse for some Madness/Starlight/insert another toilet break song here....

doubt that will happen but looks great to me - showbiz for madness/starlight and it would be nearly perfect for a not totally impossible dream setlist.

In Austria they did - omg watch that set: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2003/gasometer-vienna-austria-4bd7a37a.html showbiz for feeling good, blackout for endlessly and uno for tiro would make it complete for me (well ok a few newer songs for maybe sing for absolution would be ok too but the rest is just perfection)
