Sian1994cc Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 It's brill Not as good or Origin or Absolution, but I still love it
Midgething Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Moments of pure genius, couple of moments of meh. Muse never give us what we expect.
NatalieTalksTooMuch Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I described it to a friend as getting a really really awesome Christmas present that you didn't ask for....its really great, but not quite what you expected to receive
Deluded Citizen Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Aaahh!! I DO love it...just not as much as all the others. I think that that's as far as they should go away from what they started doing because although the Resistance is great, it's heading in a new direction which althought they seem to like it, a lot of Muse fans don't seem to. I preferred their earlier work... Though like I said I do still love this album
maryfleury Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Hi, I´m new here :-) I like The Resistence. I don´t have this huge knowledge of muse´s music, but I like The Resistence. When I listen to it, it seems whole, like one song has a lot to do with the rest of the songs (with some exceptions). It´s like a story or something. It took a while but it grew on me.
centralista Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 Awesome! Not as great as Oos or the other, but it is MUSE! I find it like a new way that they will follow... I hope that their next album will be more as Oos or Showbiz!
Ami34 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 I really like it. It's quite different (considering Exogenesis for example) , so it's difficult for me to rate it in comparison to the other albums.
darkshines9 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Not their best, but it really brings out their classical side and I love that. I love all the piano.
aviendha Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Some is amazing and some is just okay. I think people should stop hating on it. it's not any worse or any better, it's just different.
ImFallingAwayWithMUSE Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Hmm altho it IS different from their past albums and i dont think this album is better than those past albums, i still like this one. it took a few listenings to but i eventually fell in love with it.
Casiri Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 One of the most important reasons of why I love Muse is that their music is so extremely varied! I can listen to muse exclusively for days on end without getting the least bit tired of their music. I treasure all the albums equally as they all contain some songs that I absolutely love, and others that I love a bit less. Whatever music they play they will make it work because of their talent, take for instance their performance of Where the Streets Have No Names at Glastonbury, even though I don't actually like the song, muse transforms it into pure awesomeness!!!
raiabellamy Posted May 8, 2011 Author Posted May 8, 2011 @aviendha, yes I agree with you. it's not the worst, but different kind of music. I used to be loved Resistance until one week, my playlist was that. Now, in my head, United States of Eurasia is singing...
