Jaicen
How high do you guys usually set your pickups relative to the strings fretted at the 22nd? I usually keeep mine pretty low, 5mm or more usually. Currently I'm annoyed with the balance between my bridge Nailbomb and neck Mq, which is much louder. james90
Not sure, they vary a bit, but I think less than 5mm away. The neck MQ is a bit loud, but I think that has more to do with the amount of low end than anything else

I think the low end on the MQ has a lot to do with the perceived level differences, I was just a bit shocked at how wimpy the NB sounds having just gone back to it from using a JB/Jazz combo on my E shape. I'll have a play around with it later hopefully and see how I get on.

I know Phill also sets his MQ neck pickups pretty far away from the strings.
Jaicen
It's flush with the pickup rings! I usually set my neck humbuckers that way.
