JimboMansonMB-1
Anyone know how Matt achieves that wah-like effect in the Thoughts of a Dying Atheist solo? Probably with a wah Most likely he's got the Wah Probe in Blackie on during the solo, and it's being activated based on where his picking hand is. Oh, right The reverb tank sounds like it'd just that ambient phase sort of thing, the main part of the solo sounds more like a wah. I dunno... Also, I missed Matt's highlights...hmm
CptPretentious
Hmmm, there's definitely a wah but it sounds sort of muted, like if you held your hand over your mouth while making wah noises.

Or used a wah probe Are you talking about the washing phasey/flangey noise in the backgorund or the actual wah effect on the lead part of the solo? JimboMansonMB-1
The actual wah in the solo It sounds like just a standard wah pedal, probably one where you can adjust the range and Q as it does have that sort of muffled sound
