Great! Haven't seen the whole show yet, did they show stuff from all 3 nights?? So are we to expect more songs tomorrow? IF they played stuff from Kiss, Muse and Slip, I'd expect that means more of them all tomorrow, surely? Is that what happened tonight guys?

It's usually 3/4 songs, isn't it? Maybe they split it up now! 2 new, 2 old I would of thought! With 5 hrs of coverage over the two nights, surely they'd show more than 2 songs from the headliners???

Hysteria and Mercy have been shown so far. I'm sure Matt has tweaked his guitar tone to make the tunes sound more "metal"

I'm working on the Download highlights, but they're not finished yet, so here's a taster of things to come.
I've posted this early because I need to ask if anyone has decent footage of Citizen Erased and Dead Star, send it my way.
Anyway, enjoy this lil taster until it's done.

He wouldn't of mentioned it unless they were and also with the fact that Lollapalooza Berlin is the same weekend makes it almost certain
There's 2 headliners to be announced, Muse and someone else, and the "someone else" is rumoured to be Kylie Minogue who has a big London festival show next weekend. Bestival are probably holding out until after that show and then announcing both headliners (and the rest of the lineup) next week. It's also right after Glastonbury so with people seeing that on TV they'll be itching to go to a festival and if Bestival announce one of the biggest bands in the world right after then it'll be a massive help for ticket sales, especially since Bestival has a reputation as a mini-Glastonbury. All about maximising potential ticket sales
2 things though
1) You can't get a day ticket for Bestival
2) It's a ballache to get to
It's such a great festival though I can't recommend it enough, it's so much better than the whole "gig in a field" vibe that R+L and Isle of Wight Festival's have going
Just as well I didn't drop some £££ on tixs! I thought something wasn't quite right with it, as Bestival would of been forced, due to all the media outlets reporting it, to come out and confirm the slot, if it was happening, as it be an anti climatic announcement! So maybe he was just HIGH (on snooker) that night

Muse aren't exactly a band that have been shy about having festival pro shots out there! I've never known them to refuse coverage? They're a great live band and the more evidence of that is out there, the better! This was a special occasion and I only hope it finds it's way out there in a full way (eventually) !!

what is concerning is that the other bands all have little snippets on the download youtube page, but muse do not. I have a feeling they asked to not be involved with any video stuff...
Maybe cause they plan to do something with it themselves! (HOPING)
