Ohh crap, I think I forgot to post these here when I made them... here's Psycho and The Handler anyway. Honestly, these are some of my best covers imo.

Yes it's possible and it's the same shipping cost actually. (38€)
Sent you a PM
-
I'm not asking an expensive cost, basically the price of the parts. I'm thinking about 240€ / 190£ and the shipping to UK is about 30£ with insurance. So 220£ shipping cost includes.
And Paypal fees to add, if payment with it.
Are you able to ship it within EU? Would be very interested, but I'm from Finland.

Anyone have any ideas on the Micro Cuts Rock Werchter 2015 live sound here? Intro mainly
Could be just very slight OD from amp/profiler, delay and a very slight phaser.
-
Can you people tell me all the songs that include a Piano? I am not sure if I miss some.
I can play: Sunburn, Isolated System, New Born Intro, I belong to you (not the french part), Neutron Star Collision, Survival, Mercy, Eurasia... I have to learn the Globalist. Any more songs?
Thanks in advance.
Apocalypse Please, Citizen Erased outro, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Resistance, Animals and Feeling Good?
-
I know I fell off time a couple of times(most noticable after the 2nd chorus), but I'd say this is still pretty good. What do you guys think of the tone? I know it's not P&C, but I'd say it's pretty good for a fuzz
-
Kudos for not playing that with the delay as Chris does. I'd recommend to learn how to play very close to the strings at even volumes, so whenever you need the accents you can cheat a bit by moving them out a bit further allowing some more velocity to hit the strings harder.
I'm not too 'fuzzed' about the fuzz, I think that mostly came Matt, Chris using more animato instead.
Thanks! And yeh, I know Chris used the Animato, I just love using a bit thicker distortion, it's much better for my own taste
And for the thing with ghost notes, that's what I've actually tried to learn, but it's coming slow as I'm playing with a pick most of the time. Thanks for the tip anyway :3
-
Ahh, Micro Cuts. The death of bassists like me, who are bad with accenting notes. Gotta say tho, the fuzz is pretty sweet imo :3
-
That's pretty nice. What's with the massive bass tho? I mean, it fits for this version, but SMBH has always(for me at least) sounded so great exactly for the really cold sound it has.
Good job, anyway. Really good, to be exact.
-
Hnggh! I know this isn't perfect but I just got myself a Line6 FM4 yesterday! So glad of finally getting my hands on this gigantic purple box full of ufo-weirdness!
-
The distorted sound works, but needs a clean blend! Get the Boss LS-2; it's going to make switching different sounds (such as synth and distortion) a lot easier too!
Agreed on the timing, but I've said that a lot before.
Actually, there is blend on my DG Duality, but I think it isn't audible, because I had to drop a lot of low end to use the envelope filter. Also, some of the 'flubby' sounding notes are actually cut off by the filter itself, messed up the setup a bit xD
EDIT: Also, LS-2 is used on the vid to switch between the envelope and duality.
-
I know, I'm going to get slaughtered for cutting the mid section away, but I just don't like it. It just doesn't fit there IMO.
-
Needed one of these somewhere in your post
Well... yeh xD
But hey, if you(or anyone else here ) check the channel, you'll notice I've done a ton of Muse covers with the DG Duality. What do you people think of the tone?
-
Dayum, they really got to you huh?
Just play whatever you want to play, you've got nothing to prove to anyone else.
Wat. Nobody really saw the sarcasm? Topkek. I just wanted to share one to here for a change and remembered that thingy about playing with fingers xD
-
I remember someone had quite a boo hoo for me not using fingers on my playing. Well, here we go then. Used the pick on the breakdown only to make the filter react to every note.
One thing to note; I don't give a shit of a few flubbed notes here and there, or just any minor errors. I rather make an cover that is enjoyable to make than just stand still without any emotion paid to the music and watch to not make a single mistake. And no, I'm not trying to sound 1:1 with the original. Isn't it kind of the point, to not to just make a replica of the original?

And yeah, Apocalypse Please isn't the most techincal song ever. So what? You can't enjoy music solely for the feeling in it?
-
Neither Royal Blood nor Radiohead have been mentioned . Is it possible this whole post is based on your...unusual imagination?
And clearly not.
Sorry to all of you guys. I scrolled down in Youtube and got upset
-
Damn! Guys really pulled a song to show how toxic the community and fanbase are!
- Drones(Psycho only so far obv): Ehrmagherd Royal Blood cover ehrmagherd Radioheed! Muus suks, they are sheet!
- 2nd Law: Ehrmagherd pop shit and wubstep, suuuucks
- Resistance: Ehrmagherd, boring pop shet with one gud soong
I thought Muse has one of the most intellectual fanbases. Doesn't seem so.

You don't need to rest your fingers on the pickup
And here is the point. My fingers are so short that I have to hold my thumb on A-string if I wanna play from G. So, for example, gg Hysteria.
-
I don't see how it could be a problem to play with short fingers You just have to find the good position for your hand, and that's it.
Well, I can, with my Headless Kingbass, but that has pickups that don't fir for this kind of stuff. At all. They are so muddy, I can play Uprising etc. with that, but this much fuzz would sound flat out empty with that.
-
I think some of the timings are off in the onset of your notes, and I think it's mostly because of you playing with a pick. Even though the sound is great, I strongly recommend you play this with fingers; in the end, knowing how to do both properly will increase your playing and versatility as a bass player.
Playing with a pick isn't a bad thing, but some things just play less sloppy with fingers.
As I said, using fingers is much harder for me, as I have fairly short fingers. And yeah, I noticed off-timing, and some of that is true, but now that I listened my own track only, I think some of them are in time, but the effect makes it so mashed that they sound being off.
EDIT: And btw, I made this in one take and I never aim for 100% perfect result, but rather on something I myself enjoy(one of the reasons I usually do only one take). I also try to 'go with the song' when I play, rather than just stand still(which really annoys me when watching many youtubers), and that may cause a few mistakes. But yeah, as I said, I rather make a cover to be different/interesting/enjoyable than just standing still and playing with that perfect touch.
What kind of stuff do you play ?Thrash metal and Folk/Melo-death metal.
-
The sound is good, but dude, you have fingers, then throw that pick.
Lol. If you'd know what kind of stuff I play other than Muse, you wouldn't say that. Besides, even my bass teacher told me that I should use a pick, as I have fairly short fingers. So... please, let people do things the way they prefer, want or have to.
-
I'd call this at least close enough, altho it doesn't sound as huge on this recorded version as it does naturally, of course:
