anyone know when new dates will be announced? been waiting over a year in the hopes Australian dates would be announced but with no luck
The Drones World Tour is finished, so the 360 stage is not coming. Maybe a one off show or festival at the end of this year or next year, but I doubt it honestly...

I'm getting really nervous for the set at Lowlands next month. The fact that there's still such a massive difference between sets like tonight's and the ones in Switzerland and Switzerland the past week is complete bullshit
Tonight's set is only at 1/3 and is already better...
EDIT: Was going by what Setlist.fm reported. Apparently they're done already.

As far as the instagram thing, I thought Matt was making a joke saying his turtle's name was Dom, and that he's the one that removed Assassin. Just a cheeky way of saying that Matt himself regretted it after he heard the fans chanting it or whatever.

All in all, last night's set just proves how much of an improvement just one rarity is. The printed setlist would've been absolutely horrible...

I would've loved to see it! AC/DC is another one of my favourite bands and lets be real, it couldn't have been any worse than Asshole Rose is doing right now with AC/DC. He's butchering it.

I think The Handler ending went through a really rough phase when the European tour started, I remember France being really bad, and then got better again; I'd just stopped watching by then, and think a lot of us had.
He struggles with a little falsetto here and there, and it's not the T2L tour level, but all in all, it doesn't appear to be as bad as I thought it was.
Has he been doing the wa-wa-wa bit instead of holding the notes in SS the whole tour, though?
Do we have confirmation that he fondled himself at Glasto?
You mean stuff like "let your hatred growowowowowowow"? He's been doing that for years now I believe. Did it at Glasto 2010 as well.

Just watched a couple of snippets:
- Matt sounded pretty good on the The Handler falesetto's compared to some other gigs pas tour!
- Maggie's Farm riff sounds fucking massive now! God I wish I'll see MotP live once...
- Stockholm Syndrome should be a staple forever. Best live song they have, hands down.
- TG is fucking amazing. Great to see a pro shot of it! I hope they keep playing it at the other festivals!
- IS and JFK (especially followed by Interlude) are so. fucking. unnecessary.
- I like how the camera's didn't follow Matt during the Uprising intro. No pro shot footage of "the thing"
- Gig all in all seemed pretty good! Matt sounded fine compared to how he sounded during some other gigs the past months. Couldn't care less for Starlight, SMBH, Madness, Uprising and MWAH+Knights as a closer though. They're beyond stale nowadays, but I get why they'll keep playing them of course.
I would be VERY content if Lowlands Festival gets the same setlist in august! It'll probably be a lot shorter though...

Matt's voice has gone off quite a few times today.
As much as I like Dead Inside and Madness they kind of kill the mood a bit.
Stuff like IS and JFK into Interlude kills it even more, especially at a festival. I really don't get it.

Don't really understand the SS love to be honest. I've had it at 9 of 11 shows and it's stale as fuck to me. The two without it this year were a welcome reprieve. I'd say the same for Plug In Baby and Hysteria. I get really bored of hearing the same songs at every show, every year, no matter where I go. Hell, even Map and TAB were getting dry by the fourth consecutive show, and the former is one of my top five songs by any band, ever.
I had that with New Born. I've seen it in 3 of my 4 gigs. Since Stockholm Syndrome is in my top 5 favourite Muse songs (can't really pick a #1), it was probably the song I wanted to see the most. At the time it was the SS-New Born roulette, so I was kinda bummed to get New Born twice in a row. Pinkpop last summer made up for it though, since we got both SS and New Born there!
Same goes for Hysteria btw. Seen it 3 times and would love to see MotP once!

Also, it's unlikely that this would be the DVD recording with reports of only four drones working. Maybe Matt's just unusually spunky.
Yeah, they wouldn't put out a DVD of a gig with malfunctioning tech. Maybe they'll make a DVD that contains footage of both nights, like they did with HAARP?
Tonight's setlist seems pretty decent. There has been far worse this tour (although that would still mean nothing, since they usually cut out the best songs for the DVD

If so, it'll probably be a shit setlist.

This just came to my mind: Where the hell did New Born disappear to? Looked fantastic at the festivals with proper tempo and Matt playing the piano.
I believe it was in The Handler's spot before they started playing that. It was dropped as a staple around that time iirc. Which is a shame, because it did sound amazing at Pinkpop last summer! They've actually played it at every gig I've been to (apart from last month's gig at the Ziggo Dome) and last summer's was by far the best!

These setlists have been even worse than I expected! Thought that at least Defector would get a run out and that CE or a comparable rarity would stick around...

Same here. It kinda feels like roulette at this point. I'm just hoping on not getting Resistance, since I believe I've got that at every gig. Same for Hysteria.
I'd be VERY happy with getting something like MotP, CE or Stockholm, since I've never seen the first two live. But yeah, it'll probably be Resistance, UD or Feeling Good...
