It has some of the best lyrics on the album, but I haven't been listening to it as much as the other tracks on the album.
-
Black Holes & Revelations might be their best album to date.
The Resistance has aged fairly well, I like it more now than The 2nd Law and Showbiz.
Revolt, The Handler, and Defector are the best songs off Drones.
Jazz Cave is way better than the original.

Sooo, Revolt video this week.
-
Filip and Muscle Museum.
Ive actually been neglecting Showbiz entirely, and that makes me sad.

Any love for Crying Shame? I used to be obsessed with it.
-
Doesn't Brian actually hate Muse?
I think White Lies could cover Dead Inside or Mercy fairly well.
Hurts could do a cover of Aftermath.
-
4 minutes of pipe organ porn. Its delicious.

Reapers
The Handler
Dead Inside
Defector
Psycho/Drones
Revolt
The Globalist
Mercy
Aftermath
I listen to it all the way through, and then sorta tune out after Revolt. Not saying the last part is particularly bad, it just isn't exciting as the first half. I've really grown to love Dead Inside and Revolt, while I've lost interest in Aftermath and Mercy.
Drones is still beautiful, and I get chills listening to it. I love that the album starts with "Revere a million prayers" and ends with "Amen"...its brilliant.
Overall, this album is really good. Its better than The Resistance and The 2nd Law and pretty much on par with Black Holes.

I'm okay with this. Revolt is a pretty decent song, better than Aftermath and Mercy but not as exciting as Dead Inside. I can't wait to hear it live!
-
I just watched it again. I like it.
I couldn't bring myself to finish the video for Neutron Star Collision though. I guess I'm not the only one.
There is a version where all of the Twilight scenes have been taken out so its just the band performing which is okay, but the song is still awful.
Except for the outro. Its just so purdy.

Supremacy / Animals / Survival / Explorers / The 2nd Law for me. So half of it aged well and theother half, not so much.
Supremacy is decent, but I don't think its good enough to re-listen that often. I remember it being a decent opener live though.
Everything else is just
What about Panic Station?!It got boring after awhile, even with the chorus being so catchy. The music video was atrocious too, I cannot unsee!

See, now *that's* controversial. ;-)
Really, those are the only three songs I usually listen to from T2L nowadays. That album has not aged well.
-
Survival is a great song, one of the best on T2L (Next to Animals and Unsustainable).

To which Matt replies during Uprising with:
"f**k the Leicestershire police, for scanning all our faces without our consent".
-
Getting a Hurts vibe from this song. I love it so much.
-
Here's hoping Defector is the next single.
It will probably be Revolt, which isn't such a bad thing.
-
A moment of silence please.
-
Is it true Matt fell at the beginning of the show? The article with all the photos of the show mentioned it, of which he gives a shout out to Dave Grohl.
-
Citizen Erased into Dead Inside? I wonder how that went down.
-
Boo. You suck.
-
Madness > All Showbiz songs.
Whoa, easy tiger.

COS Review - C Grade

Show me you war fangs?

After letting this song sorta marinate over the past few days, I've come to really enjoy listening to it. I just love the way they used different effects and samples like the police siren that plays in the background, even morphing with the tempo change. Plus that chorus, so infectious.
Song that you will defend.
