oh the verse bits?

Which guitar part, and what does it have to do with Morgan?
The picking during "your lips feel warm to the touch" which he plays on keyboard, which I just assumed where guitar bits because its reminiscent of Madness.
-
?
There are some performances were the guitar part is missing, or Chris' vocals are so loud it drowns it out. In the Jools performance and at The Mayan, it's definitely more present and it sounds way better.

Okay Jools Holland wins for best second half of Dead Inside imo - https://vimeo.com/130224659 (sorry didn't know how to get the video up to just play here for Vimeo on my phone)
Morgan's contribution really completes the song live, I honestly don't know why they don't perform it like this all the time.
Mercy from Jools Holland was also really good.

What books (if any) Matt has been reading, and what genre?
What does he think about International Politics regarding Syria/Russia/Iran, and if he's been keeping up with the US Presidential Election?
What are their favorite songs/albums of the year?
If they could name new artists that currently influence them, who would they pick?

The only decent performance of Dead Inside which was at The Mayan

Micro Cuts and MoTP?
I see different interpretations, MoTP is influenced by the "Global Problematique" and references Fear & Panic (Phobos and Deimos)....but also I'm biased because it's one of my favorite songs.
Micro Cuts is strange and heavy, and fits well in an encore.
I like this a lot, but you forget Exo-Politics and Knights.I liked CoD better, and I tried not to incorporate Knights for reasons.

"One song we're working on is a 30-minute progressive choir metal monster," Bellamy told NME. "It features a 5-minute glitchy electronic interlude, kind of like drone music," he continues, breaking into hysterics.
Oh, Matt...

They should just create a 5 track EP of experimental songs they've been messing around with, and then go from there when it comes to a new full album. I know they have talked about it before, I don't know why they didn't go through with it. I think it'd be a great idea.
-
I thought that cover was pretty bland, tbh, but it would probably be better than an R&B album.
Im biased, because I love that band/song and Muse doing a cover blew my mind.
I think they'd be really successful if they drew influences from the likes of chvrches, IAMX, and Depeche Mode. Plus, SMBH is heavily influenced by R&B and its a pretty decent song.
-
They should go for a style that fits their CHVRCHES cover. Obviously more in tune with Dead Inside, that dark electro-funk feel. That would be great; an album of Dead Inside/MoTP like songs.

MoTP
Take A Bow
City of Delusion

probably turn out to be U2 meets Depeche Mode. There be much evolving in this band.
That actually sounds great.
-
Or they could play a normal stage and everyone could see the band the entire time...
Still unconvinced.
Apparently the stage is "low" so the entire audience will be able to clearly see them. I was skeptical at first, but this bit of news made me feel a little better.

Drink more wine. (Didnt he say he does that before shows anyways?)

Worse than Guiding Light?
Yes, Guiding Light is honestly not that bad.
I'd rather hear UD live again more than Knights, TIRO, PIB, Uprising and most other staples.and maybe ce
I dont think it translates well live. On the album, it's fun and full but it lacks live. I'd rather have MK Ultra or even US back in the sets instead of UD.
-
Really? USoE is actually really good live imo
It's alright, the visuals and the atmosphere during FG trumps it I think. I'm not a big fan of USoE period. It's the worst part of The Resistance.

I don't know if it is just me, but Chris' backing vocals have been a bit sloppy recently - I really noticed it in KoC and Mercy in the Live Lounge set on Friday. Seems a bit of a shame, because he used to be quite good and consistent
I thought Chris sounded exceptionally good during Mercy at Fuji. I guess it's just hit or miss sometimes.

Im okay with waiting, my financial situation is not okay right now and tour dates would make me oh so sad. So yeah, take your time boys.

Its too quiet to notice, but it does look like he's playing it so that's my mistake. It's just being drowned out over everything else.
