It's a concept album. "Mother do you think they'll write this song" sounds stupid out of context.
I can't think of any context in which "killed by remote control", "CIA babe" and "HERE COME DAH DROANS" wouldn't sound stupid.

I guess I just don't mind literal lyrics, similar to how I really like the album cover and don't see why it being obvious makes it bad. It's the silly sounding stuff like "brainwashing our children to be mean" that makes me shake my head a bit.

oh boy. well the studio version is slightly more tolerable than the live one, it's sharper and much more on point. also the bass is simply killer. it's still not a good song though, because of the issues mentioned before.that video though..
that drone following the dude everywhere felt like the police car from the Naked Gun intros the woman is just hilarious, the CIA stuff being actual lyrics is also hilarious, but the most epic thing ever is the HERE COME THE DRONES during the outro. -
