I think most people on here know
And I don't give a shit because I said when I bought it that I was getting it cos either it's an awesome bargain or has insane resale value
-
Pls
Still not retubed and sorted out since I need more student loan to do that shit. If it was all working would be looking for around £800-900 haha
I know how much you got it for
I definitely cant afford that though
-
Your Cholla cover wasn't the best toan either
But but but but but I liked it
-
so iv ebeen playing it wrong then?.. for the very first part of the solo, ive been sliding from 1st frett to 19th, and then back up on my E-dropped-to-an-A string, then for high pitched parts after that i did 3rd frett harmonics on the A or D string whammy'd up one octave, then the slides again, then it's the Kaoss Pad part, then a slide from 19th to 1st on the dropped A string, then 3 fast consecutive strikes behind the nut, then slides and a Kaoss Pad part again, is this totally wrong?
There's no kaoss pad in Unsustainable

Oh
Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a classic player 60s strat soon, which will replace a squire I've got who's pickups are so quiet it's hard to get a good rock sound
Nice, I really want one of the new lake placid ones, they're sexy as fuuurk!
-
how much for the hayden?
-
Yeah I agree, it's also a bit bassy.
Was trying for a big, wide sound but with mega it's hard to make it uncompressed. Plus i don't run 4 amps like Simon Neil
I was going tot say it sounded too trebly!
Really to get simon's tone you need single coils into a high gain amp with a fender deville clean blend. But then again we're not in arena filling rock bands
-
My joint second favourite biffy album
Good cover... the tone isn't quite right, it's a little too fuzzy. Good muse tone, less good "pure" classic rock tone for biffy.

Gets me drunk.
Lightweight

Not even going to try explaining how this setup works!
What does the beer do?

That's cos you're on barrier and have no idea what the actual crowd was like Seriously so dead for almost all their set. Fucking competitions
The front row was pretty rowdy, but not much going on behind i guess. It was the intimacy and the awesomeness of hearing T2L live for the first time that did it for me. It was also a nice come-back feeling, I felt like the new tour was here

Roundhouse is definitely the shittest I've been to
Best for me
Matthijs, your bass muff is on the same settings as mine
-
what about his right?
my thoughts exactly
-
Closest I've got is less than a meter away on the roundhouse barrier/dom passing me his drum stick/chris fist bumping me and giving me his harmonica
/fanboy.

I'm always jelly I got into Muse right as their US tour finished.
Yep, I got into them right when they started playing big arenas in the UK
Why am I complaining, I saw them in a 1000 person venue
-
Random picture, these were how small the US gigs were during blackholes. I snapped this one during newbown.
It's crazy how big they got out there so quickly. I blame twilight.
in that pic of your old guitar, what were the order of the knobs?
-
Back in 2007 when I got my first fuzz factory, I had no idea what to do with it. All the settings were foreign. We caught muse after a gig, and I told Matt I had no idea what the fuck to do. So he set it up the way he does, and said "fuck around with this knob a bit."
What was that setting then?
edit: I completely disregarded the posts after this

Apparently if you're dyslexic you can get a free one when you go to uni, although I don't know if they stopped that now since too many people were trying to take advantage of the offer...
My sister got one

LORD MFC

It doesn't look that much different! But certainly more shiny
Dom - I'm worried that 1st class stamp wasn't enough - before when I havent paid enough it's come back to me, or held at a post office and a letter is sent to the address on the envelope. Either that or Royal Mail are being fucking slow
