Vocal lines in this case, and yes: they should be as close as possible. No sarcasm
Also, my attempt to get as close as possible to Easily on bass. I wish I had my pedalboard here atm This is all cubase effects.

Fucking awesome Particularly the chorus.
However, the tone I know you just had the digi fx, but still... it let the cover down

haha thanks yeah I do get what you mean. I read somewhere Matt said he's written a lot of these riffs (pointed at Stockholm Syndrom as an example) on the piano originally, that got me interested into trying to see what these songs actually sound like on piano. and then decided to do the whole damn thing
Fair enough! It's definitely an interesting idea, I just couldn't listen to it front to back which is a shame because of the work put in.

But you always go on about jazzy cave :O
I find it tough to decide which Sunburn I prefer...so in the end I just watch it from Dundee 2006 and wet my pants a little
Because I saw it (and it's cave)
Yeah, the R1BW version is awesome. I think the Piano solo sounds a little tinny...
-
Sunburn, jazzy cave
Cave was a bit meh, apart from outro
Sunburn solo sounds cool, except I do prefer it on guitar.
But c'mon, New Born riff...

Awesome playing, and I can appreciate you just played a whole album in full, but I really dont like seeing a piano replicate guitar parts etc... I know you had no other way without a backing track, but personally I found it hard to listen to.

Neil's edit sounds like early kasabian

I'd love it but you only ship to UK.
You can use my address, i'll give it to you at Emirates or something?
-
James, is that a button on the body above the neck joint?
Push button killswitch.

I think problems are relative to number of guitars

Right anyone wanna buy my Sigma 000R-28V? Never used it, honestly, I dont like playing acoustics. It cost almost £400, I'd want £300 for it... plus international P&P

You wouldn't be interested in having our child move in with you, would you?
I wouldn't be asking for much, since I mutated him and whatnot. And I could deliver him on my trip.
Assuming he doesn't get confiscated....
Facebook me how much, I'm very very interested
(but probably dont have enough because I'm spending too much money right now)

The beginning might be because the whammy was on detune setting.
Oh right!
Why?
-
The drop's good, but the intro string bit isn't so good... Not a fan of the tone... Also it all seems a little out of tune!
Good overall though! Must have been a bitch to program.

Id buy the blue one to burn it and put it out of it's misery

I have that leather Manson strap that I got with Peeves but I never bothered working out how to adjust the length
Bring it in, i'll do it for you
-
Get a proper leather one.
Been through a bunch of those shitty ones

Reject is a satin finish whereas new one is gloss, and has different profile, and different scale length. DIS BE INTERESTING
I still don't know what I'm gonna do about this fine tuner business. I could just not have a locking nut I guess, but no
What's the scale length of the Reject? Thought it was fender size (25.5 or whatever)
-
Well yes, but I can't imagine there being too much difference between bolt ons and set necks and stuff. I mean I guess it depends on playing style. I don't tend to play stuff too high up the neck most of the time, normally like 15th fret at most so I probably wouldn't notice that much of a difference. More the profile of the neck
Yeah profile makes more of a difference, but I dislike playing upper frets on set and thru necks. Also, I dont like the way they feel to play, I dunno. Oh also they tend to be gloss finished and satin necks >>>> gloss, imo. Oh, and did I say I dont like the neck binding?
I havent played will's yet though so it could be awesome
-
Necks are the main thing that affect playability! I find bolt on necks generally a lot nicer to play on tele types.
-
Bolt on neck would make it look awful, even more so a plate
It's fine as it is
Not talking about looks, I'm on about playability. Also binding
I didn't mean add a plate, i meant change the shape. I dont think it works as a tele shape!
I like the finish!
-
Just noticed the neck binding. That's ruined them for me now...
This, also needs a bolt on neck
And tele shapes look silly without a plate, imo
-
No, I really dont.

Sounds a bit City Of Delusion-ish... Not sure about the singer's voice. But awesome song
