Super cool! My roommate is actually a polisci major (but she's...changing majors). My sister is a polisci major though, and she's graduating this year. English and history are BIG ones then I guess. Any foreign languages?

Any plans on taking a 3rd one? (maybe a science) What major are you thinking about right now?
-
2180. That was the highest one at least. Honestly, I don't think SAT factors much into it. SATIIs are probably more important (but that doesn't mean you should shirk your SAT prep). Have you taken SAT2s yet?

I didn't do the ACTs, but as far as I've heard, ACTs are typically for East Coast schools. I'm not sure though. I (clearly) am not going to East Coast schools xD A lot of these questions are on collegeconfidential.com if you wanna check that out (:

Don't be frustrated. We'll get through this, I'm sure (: And you WILL BE FINE! If I could get C's and get into UCLA, then you can! It's just another checkmark on the application. You may as well apply (: Thinking about private schools at all?

AGGHUEHRWUHLAKJS:FLKASJ (that's the kind of emotion my lack of pit tickets makes me feel like) askdjfa;owiejksjdf >_< Sure thing (You should come to UCLA) =]

A typical resume starts with your contact info at the top, so like
Name
Email
School
Graduating Class
etc
followed by volunteer stuff, awards, etc. Just make sure you list everything out very specifically (: There are tons of formats online, so just pick one and stick to it. Start early! Do you know where you want to apply to? And if you ever need help on math, you can ask me Though, I'll have to try and remember it xD
-
Ahh...mine was in Science (no idea why I'm still a science-y major) xD. I'm sure you will do well! What math are you taking right now? Whoaa Irish dancing? Super cool! Have you started compiling your resume?

I felt like it was really important. My grades were definitely not stellar. I got a C in...junior year? And spots of B's and bunches of A's. Very average grades, so I felt like my application really set me apart from other applicants. Do you play any instruments? Since I've done piano since I was young, I ended up making a concert (with my sister) to benefit victims of Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar (junior year to senior year summer). Raised money and donated to a non-profit organization. It looks pretty awesome on your resume, but it's also a really good learning experience for leadership and taking command of what you want to do.

Mm..quite an insane amount really. D: I was in this thing we had called International Baccalaureate program, so we had to do 250 hours as it was. But other than that, I had a lot of other volunteer experiences like Relay for Life an performing piano concerts and such. What did you have in mind? You should start compiling your resume and college apps over the summer. That way you won't have to super rush them during your senior year. (:

I play jazz as a style of music. I did keyboard at first for my schools' jazz band, but my friend decided to teach me how to play Love it! You use to play for a band in DB? No way D: Maybe I know them? haha
