Resistance and Blackout within the first 10 minutes of BBC3's Abortion: Ireland's Guilty Secret.

Cobain being number 1 or anywhere near the list is ridiculous

In Your World wasn't mentioned. I'd be surprised if someone got that one given they haven't played it live since the Origin Tour and Dead Star was always the main A-side of that one.
I know it wasn't mentioned, and they always say that double A-sides count as 2 songs that's why I wondered why it wasn't mentioned by Richard when he listed the pointless answers
-
One of the categories on the Pointless Final was Muse top 40 singles.
EDIT: The pointless answers included Butterflies and Hurricanes, Hysteria, Resistance, Unintended, Dead Star, Hyper Music and Sing for Absolution.
When I was watching my three picks were Hyper Music, Dead Star and In Your World because they allow double A-sides as separate answers, either they failed to mention it or someone said it
-
Extensive research goes into that show, clearly.

Uprising just referenced on Coronation Street.
"Muse - he likes muse. What's that song from their first album? 'They will not force you, we will be victorious'"
They failed a bit.
-
Probably from a influx of idiots
Can't argue with that
-
Influx of idiots on twitter believing a rumour that muse are going to split-up. Any of ideas of where this came from?

Imagine how differently Survival would have been received when it was first released if it was only an instrumental. Considering most negative reviews stemmed from the choir and the lyrics, remove those and we may be left with the best thing I've ever heard from muse.
For me, the lyrics render the song laughable in a way. I love the song, but imagine what it could have been.
Back on track, yeah Survival best riff.

The kid in that video needs his voice box removed and then castrated

They do actally play it, just a lot of the time the BBC aren't covering the arena when the song is being played. I was watching the gymnastics online and they played it with the montage on the big screen, some people were bobbing along too

Three songs on bbc3 show about best european championship moments, new born, micro cuts and time is running out. BBC love muse.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrqpKEOF8uw - not going to embed it so don't annoy peoples, but this is the tourist, and Starlight isn't on it. It's that new movie that has Starlight in it
Actually, MotP was used in the trailer and Starlight is also used in the end credits, as they originally said.

NME TV has an hour block of Muse and showed (in order):
Feeling Good (HAARP)
Stockholm Syndrome
Undisclosed Desires
Neutron Star Collision
Time is Running Out
Dead Star
Bliss
Invincible
Butterflies and Hurricanes
Resistance
Starlight
What an odd combination.
Why so? It's an improved selection of muse songs compared to what music channels usually broadcast.
-
Muse top 20 on MTV. Well I missed out on almost every song, so I only got to hear the ''most popular''.
The guy who spoke in the background was kind of funny though. ''And then a strange creature appears, looking all, (something), with hollow eyes and crooked teeth. No, not Matt Bellamy! I'm talking about the evil teddy bears!''
seriously? that guy is about as funny as a kick in the face
-
You wouldn't notice sarcasm even if it hit you in the face.
No really, i get sarcasm. Name of the thread and everything? Includes the word opinion so yeah i'm not stupid. Anyway the reason why i said its a matter of opinion, meep said its more misguided than controversial, I don't think it's either.
-
NO WAY!
Jeez, some people on here are so far up their own arses its unreal
-
It's more 'misguided' than controversial
Matter of opinion
-
Muse is better than Radiohead.
Is that controversial?
Considering this is a muse forum,, no. Sheeesh
-
What? What are you talking about? Muse didn't write either of those songs, what has it got to do with everything? Do you have a problem with Thom's voice or something...?
Oh, I don't think I'm getting you. Don't worry about this.
What i was saying after 4 years of believing no other band could come anywhere near muse, obviously they can. Not very controversial, i know.
Where have you heard Muse?
