  1. Butterflies and IBTY were the only enjoyable songs the first night. That's 2 songs out of 21-22. Pure insanity. The vast majority of the songs were the same on the second night, but they were performed better (except Resistance, where he didn't hit that final note on the second night).

Highly doubt only 2 songs were enjoyable. I honestly think Wembley day 1 gets too much hate. It deserves hate, but some have called it their worst gig which is BS.

Roskilde.... well, you have every right to complain there.

  2. They do play a lot of it live though

I guess they kind of do. Mainly Starlight, Knights, and SMBH. Take A Bow and MotP appear sometimes, but it was only towards the more recent gigs. Soldier's Poem was a big rarity this tour. However with the recent gigs this may change.

This still leaves out some other amazing songs, which is a shame since stuff like Assassin and City of Delusion would fit the Resistance theme very well.

  3. Supermassive Black Hole and New Born have lost their 'edge' on this tour. I really loved SMBH live on the previous tour because it was really in-your-face, same goes to New Born [H.A.A.R.P], but they've really calmed them down in this tour, and thus, deserve the boot.

Now I've never been to a BH&R tour gig, so I can't compare but both times I saw Muse during the Resistance Tour I had fun with SMBH. Only thing I don't like is Matt getting lazy with the Kaoss Pad solo (if that's even possible).

New Born, I don't think I even have to attend an older concert to know it's lost its edge. The first time I saw them it was OK, the second time it was rather boring. At this point I'd rather have Unnautral Selection replace it. They seem to put more effort into that song.

  4. ...I'm jealous of anyone who got to see Muse with Silversun Pickups. Must have been the best concert ever.

I took a friend to see Muse. We had gotten him the tickets for his birthday (late present) so he didn't really seem them. Turns out his favorite band was Silversun Pickups, and didn't know they were opening for Muse. He was quite surprised when he found out only a short time before they actually went on stage.

They were good openers. But don't feel too bad. The first US leg of the tour felt pretty bland to me.
