  1. I love UD but it doesn't translate well live at all. I'm not surprised to see it back though, I just hope that it doesn't mean Dead Inside, Madness and UD all in the same gig. But it probably does so fuck me.

Not overly excited about what I'm hearing so far.

I don't think its fair to put Dead Inside in that category.

  2. I wonder how releasing a song at a time works with tours? Wait until the songs are all released and then start touring? Play the songs before releasing them one-by-one?

Regardless, the most worrying part of the interview was hearing their musical direction for the next album

  3. If I remember correctly, Muse were pretty static during the BH&R days; they move/jump around more these days.

I'm also glad Matt has decided to play guitar parts again, that really frustrated me on the last tour. But as someone said, he doesn't do as much improvisation during songs as he used too

  4. Jared Leto has been in amazing shape for a few years now though, and the reason he's sounded quite bad at times has been because his material is insanely difficult. He was literally spitting blood at the end of the tour for This Is War (where most of the live material I heard sounded good iirc)

But yeah I think Matt's fitness plays a big part still. It's difficult to say before he actually does something about it, but yeah.

And not only is he ignoring cardio work now, he USED to do it when he was younger, so to say "let's just wing it!" when he gets older is crazy.

Matt must surely have a vocal coach.. It seems naive to believe that they arrange multi-million £ tours without taking steps to ensure Matt can prolong his voice (or at least stop him from damaging his vocal chords)

  5. I wonder if someone along the lines justified bumping the price of the tickets a $20 equivalent to accommodate "selling" a copy of the CD to everyone...

I wonder how many people pay £70+ to see a band and haven't even bothered to listen to their latest album.

  6. Nah, either Zenith '04 or Montreux '02.

RAH is good but it's not much different from most other performances of Fury post-BH&R, plus it's tuned down -1.

I really dislike the lazy vocals of the post-abso performances of fury.

My favourite is the 2004 one at Wiltern theatre.

  7. Using songs played so far and giving some songs a much needed rest:
