The price of student fees are a bit irrelevant unless National limits what you can borrow. But I hate the compulsory fees that Victoria put up as a way to get more funds - why should I pay $500 when I don't even live in Wellington and was there for six days of a bloody semester?
That's true.
The fact that I had to play two separate $75 Administration Fees, one to the Accommodation Office and one to the Hall of Residence, was pretty annoying. I should probably get my student loan finalised.

I was one of two people wearing a TPF shirt and was full on dancing at the front of the audience. I freaked out when they played a couple of songs and basically sang the whole lot by myself. Really talented bunch. Afterwards Will came and shook my hand for coming, etc -

I don't keep up with Politics, so I have no idea exactly what Laws have been put through
I heard about the 90 day trial thing, and it probably affects me (and my age group) more than anyone else, because I don't have many qualifications/references yet. It'll probably make it harder for those on the dole to get into the workforce too, which is not really the best idea out. Oh our country.

my first phoenix foundation gig was in early 2005. i was so off my face and the pub where it was was really small that they didn't even have a raised stage. i spent the entire gig trying not to fall over into sam's mike stand.
i remember telling my friends after that i really liked the song about fish and they didn't believe me. i bought their first album and there it was "going fishing".
after i took a poster from the bathroom and after my friend and i seriously considered breaking into subway, making a sandwich and leaving money on the counter. subway was never closed at 2am, we were gutted. my friend was so drunk i had to put her socks on so i found the ugliest pair possible. and later on she kept going on about how she didn't understand why she was wearing pink socks.
should be a good time. i've enjoyed every phoenix foundation gig i've been to and i've been to a few now.
I don't think my night will be that exciting, noone wants to go with me. I'll still go by myself though, just have to sort out a way of getting to Napier and back.Also, the netball was great, so exciting. And what I saw of Kane Williamson was exciting, even if the rest of it was not so much.

I'm getting really worried because Hall offers for Vic are supposed to be out on Friday. The Otago ones were sent out four days before they were said to be, so perhaps Vic will be early. I keep checking my email awaiting the message

I am going to Vic. School decided for me by screwing up my Hall application for Otago, but I was 90% sure I was going to Vic at that point anyway.
Can't be bothered going to school for the rest of the year

I care most that he's possibly too egotistical not to be pleased at "having caused a diplomatic incident". All by his racist dwarf self.
Everyone at school today was saying "How could you not laugh at Dikshit?" and I said "well, noone else on the show was, it's called professionalism and consideration of others".

Yeah, it's Breakfast. People are saying 'oh, their ratings are going to go down so much now' like it actually matters. They were going to lose more money from advertisers pulling out if he stayed.

One of the guys on The Rock breakfast show has a theory that Paul Henry did this to get out of his contract. If he gets another job, the theory would seem to be a possibility.
