  2. I have been spending most of my time pondering the mysteries of life, like "do I really need to go to lectures today?", "why do I bother going to all these lectures?", "do I really need to stay at university?" and "how am I ever going to hold down a steady job?".

I don't know what I'm doing with my life, in other words. How is your life going? I'll try and reply to you faster than I did this time.

  3. Oh em gee, where have you been?!

  4. You are a wonderful person and I hope magical things are happening in your life.

    *scuttles away*

  5. You're in Welly? Exciting. Perhaps I will see you next weekend then.

  6. Possibly. I kind of can't leave now (not that I was going to) so I'll be sure to hang around for if you do :p

Also, I plan to be hideously drunk next weekend if you want to come out to town or something :awesome: I'm here now, but this weekend was mainly to see my school friends :p

  7. Saaaaaaaaam. Should I venture back into board-life?

  8. Anguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussssssssssssssssss

  9. That's the one thing I disagree with the most about the compulsory membership. I understand the free association argument and all of that, but I don't think it's right to remove the compulsory membership. How many first year uni students are going to want to subscribe for it if they have to pay for it out of their own money? It's going to be tough for student unions to convince people to pay for the membership out of their own pocket. As long as I haven't run myself into debt by next year, I'll pay for the membership, based upon all the ranting I've done about this in Wellington.
  10. I understand that. I'm reasonably close to home here, others are closer, but some are much further away. I've only been home during the actual semester break, but it's good to have the option if I need to, without paying up to $100 for a flight home. It's one of the main reasons I didn't end up going to Otago. It really looks like they aren't even trying. What makes things worse is when National try and sugar coat everything, by saying things like "People will have the opportunity to decide whether a responsible approach to balancing the books and building growth is one they want to support".
  11. That was hilarious. I think Don Brash ended up looking like the bigger dick in this case. If Hone never said things like "Don't make this about me being Maori", he'd probably be a good MP.
