Hello ppl, long time no chat. Have you guys viewed this: http://www.muselive.com/index.php?m=single&id=4539 I cant watch it at work, ugh! Yay, fellow LOTR geek *high 5s*. Haha I actually travelled out of Msia for the 1st time due to the LOTR exhibition at the Singapore Science Center. That was great nerdy fun I tell ya. I remember Viggo (yes first name basis lol) saying in the DVD Extras that his fav bit of the TTT DVD were the Boromir / Faramir extra scenes. Oh yeah it's ON! I was pissed the goal cushion wasnt more than 1, since United had like 12 shots on target compared to Arsenal's 2. Never mind, at least no away goal conceded. Anyone else do this for the Champs League matches: go to sleep at 10 pm then wake up at 3am then sleep again before going to work? No? Only me izzit? Liz, thank you so much for that VH writeup. As always, very pleasant reading la babe.

Nut: exactly. Thank god we got to catch Korn b4 this crept up huh? And to think that the event was actually a success, I mean u had fun right? You know what sometimes I really wish we Malaysians could have even a smidgen of SG's orderliness / organisation. /Rantalert/ It's not an exaggeration to say that for international gigwise we Malaysian tend to think: 'woah I must go to this concert since they'll never come this way again / someone will f*** it up somehow". Like u have to be cynical like we'd ever have anything good on a permanent basis Actually I've had a bad feeling that stuff would blow up ever since the Coldplay TBC debacle happened. Notice that it was reported that Pineapple blatantly hoodwinked not only the consumers, but the authorities as well. I dont give a crap if it was their so-called 'agents' that failed to get the proper permits, it's not so hard to double check! Totally got dizzy coping with Jay Kay's smexy moves ( Liz I'm quoting u here). C'mon Liz post ur photos, my photos not so good as we were in the middle and I was too busy dancing my ass off! Went apeshit during deeper underground actually, there goes me old hips :awesome: Haha okay the race itself was exciting (imho as a noob), and the non-traditional teams actually winning for a change was fun. But the best part was partying in the rain and laughing non-stop over the antics of the crazy Mat sallehs. Haha the Finnish dudes actually brought their own inflatable rafts / floats to mudslide dohwnhill on I balik n totally coma after that Thank god I took Monday off!

Hehe, Noh tu saja nak remain mysterious kot, some sort of frontman mystique I guess. Yeah he's quite entertaining. During Sunburst throughout the show he was "peewit"-ing and making kissy faces at Bunkface's lead vocalist (the mat salleh dude), coz Bunkface were up next. Noh was like, "chop wei, aku nyanyi 3 lagu je lagi". Then he proceeded to sing the chorus of 'Destinasi' or something by Bunkface. Haha I guess u had to be there to get the humour.... Sneaking in food: Excellent idea. Now how the hell do I smuggle mineral water? faz where do u get ur ear plugs *F1 noob* 2nd request for F1 M & G piccies! Dont forget the teddy bear On other news, the U2 support tix are being sold now. Omg they get to watch Muse again *iz very jealous*

Wow I missed too much, so here's some pic spam / Sunburst recollections (instead of replies to u guys): Noh of Hujan has a pact to never let anyone see his eyes (except Faz): Couldnt get a better pic, some harcore Butterfans were pushing vs me: I was standing there open mouthed watching this ladi sing in her kebaya and kain batik. cayalah! She sounds like a huskier Sarah McLachlan: This sort of sums up the icky side: Sorry that last pic was evil I know. But despite some royal fuckups (missing M & G with Korn, can u believe it?), the event was great and was comparable to the 1st Sunburst. Awesome acts, including several local ones did me proud, as well as some of the most happening crowds I've ever seen. Highlight; definitely hanging with Nut and his friend, and my friend managing to get a thrown drumstick!

Battles was really enjoyable, and an eye-opener. Such talent! I especially loved how intense their drummer was, there was a time I was just gobsmacked. Of course, him being Helmet's ex-drummer and all... No time yet for a full review, here are some photos: Suggestions on places to visit: For a weekend trip for shopping makan general sightseeing ; Bandar melaka (not A' Famosa, that place sucks), Taiping and Ipoh, Perak, Penang island. For nature / outdoorsy activities : Mt Kinabalu , Mulu Caves in Sarawak and Taman Negara Island trips: any of the amazing islands in Sabah, Pulau Perhentian.

I had an incredibly cool Maths teacher who insisted on well-rounded students (study + sports / music / dance etc) so school wasnt that stressful. Plus she taught us to ignore the bad things other ppl (ahem, teachers) say and believe in yourself. Yeah dude colour me excited as well! Nostalgia rocks!!!

Work Sympathies (empathy?) to Liz, welcome to the working world babe . Good visuals there, saying u feel like McAvoy's "Office Space" experience in Wanted. Sooo enjoyable la the concept in that film. All I can say is you have to find some kind of pleasure in your work, a sense of purpose to it. Otherwise you'd be frustrated and drained everyday. If that's the case, (and if you're not solely about the money), then you're better off doing something else u actually like. And like Deb said, fantasising sometimes helps, whatever helps u through the day la. Mine's imagining (on my way to Court) that I'm going to some medieval battle, getting all pumped by blasting KOC. 300 la tu konon. Gilmore Girls Er, I've got all the seasons up till the big Finale (which made me cry). Bought the whole thing in Batu Feringghi , for RM4 per DVD. Aaaah I didn't know u guys are GG fans as well.Guess it suits my age, but Lorelai is the most amazing female TV character ever! Plus I loved the fact she's a coffee addict, like me . Best thing about GG is the scorchingly smart, pop culture ridden bullet-speed dialogue, which used to drive my ex-bf nuts, hahaha! *evil laughter* About the Dean vs Jess argument, yeah my sister used to be annoyed that I preferred Jess . Can't help it, misunderstood supposed bad boy who's into literature / punk rock and is as smart as Rory? Damn irresistable. Yeah Deb he is kind of a jerk, but he comes good at the end, there's be some manner of closure with their relatioship later, Oops spoiler! But Dean was the perfect first love in the beginning, yeah. Aaaw such a sweet teenage boy actually building a car for Rory. But I get it la, Alexis Bledel is just the most beautiful teenage actress I've ever seen, and her character's bookishness is endearing. Other than the great dynamics with Lorelai, I loved her relationship with Luke. To cap it all off, this show has the most eclectic selection of music I've ever heard (Belle & Sebastian, etc). Mmm must hunt down the soundtrack.
