You can change the settings on the Whammy via midi, same with the KP. How often do you actually change the settings on things like the Memory Man, Fuzz Factory and Small Stone? You can mount them in a rack within a drawer so you can just slide it out and change the settings very easily. I moved to a midi system about a year ago and I'd never think of using a conventional pedalboard ever again, it's just too much hassle tap-dancing and when moving things about.

That's an awesome rig RR! How often do you gig it all?
-
Bs, the only problem I have with your setup is that you have a separate PSU for everything, its illogical! Get a Voodoo Labs pedal power or something!

James,
do you keep all of your guitars in cases when they aren't in use?

Quick cover I did of Pendulum's Propane Nightmares

I'm using the Uberschall emulator in GR4 into the power amp of the DSL. The guitar looks huge on me due to the way my camera was pointed.

good to know, was thinking about getting one a year or so ago, but never had the chance to try one out. And LOL thanks, I'm a little OCD
I'll give five pounds and a mars bar to anyone who can guess what the bottom amp is.
Is it even an amp?

The only thing that spoils it for me with that guitar is the switch.

James, I think I just found either you or the previous owner of the Dipinto on le internets
If it's you, you're fit.
If it isn't you (which I think it isn't, I think it's a guy named Chad), then the guitar is nice and your identity remains a mystery.
I've found that also ... "Chad" also owns the guild that James now owns also...hmmmmmmmmm

Looks like a DL4, TU-2, Phase 90, Ernie Ball Wah, Whammy...can't quite make out the other two though.

Hi Tom,
I'm glad you like it
Looks very cool with the Mbk3, reminds me a guitar that I made earlier (bridge - GFS Dream 180)
I love that mirror guitar! If you are ever thinking of selling that one give me a shout
-
Ohhh it still looked like black open coil from the other picture!
I really like the look of that. What's the body made of on that guitar?
It has a Sipo body, it's not too heavy and sustains for days. This guitar is in with a chance of becoming my main guitar as it's so good! I only intended to use it as my drop D guitar.
Looks awesome! I love my MBK3/MBK1 setupDo you not think the MBK3 lacks clarity and definition compared to the MBK2? Shame about it's inability to do cleans also.

I think an aged pickguard on that would look better.

New mission pedals have come :-)
Vert impressed with the whammy fx block and the wah fx block! just playing about with some pedal blocks now, may post a few videos this week.
Are the mission pedals just expression pedals or is there something special about them? Forgive me ignorance.

Nice Tom. What's the Alu box in the middle of your pedalboard?
The one next to the big muff? That's actually mounted in the rack and is controlled via midi but it's just a tube screamer clone. I don't actually use it for anything but it's nice to have another OD option if it's needed.

Finally completed my effects/amp rig. Don't think this will change for a long time now.

No teacher here, I'm completely self taught although I have a dreadful technique because of it.
-
I can honestly say this is my perfect guitar, everything I want it has. Smooth creamy solo sound with the neck pickup and then huge sledgehammer riffs using the bridge.
-
-
I can get a tone pretty close with an octave pedal and a big muff.
-
just found an old cover of Propane Nightmares couldnt get the x3 live to sound any good live but I regret getting rid of it for this kinda thing
Really good! Enjoyed that

He used to use 75 but now it's 68
Edit: Does anyone know what tempo Matt has the KP set to when he uses 68? I have mine set to 117 which is that of SMBH but it doesn't sound exactly right.

I have a Behringer FCB1010 controlling a Behringer Virtualizer Pro and Guitar Rig 4 (Both for my modulation) and then two G-Lab 2x Midi Loopers, one has a tubescreamer and a big muff in its loops and the other I use as a midi controlled AB box. I don't even really use the two pedals mentioned.
