Yeah I like that a lot! Very clean and tidy work and it looks great.

Hey! You remind me of this guy stood outside the Emirates Stadium trying to sell tickets to a not even sold out gig! He was a bit of a twat too
There is no need for that.
-
Cheers. Yeah a black one's on my list of things to look into after payday. Last one from me before I spam up the thread too much more. Thought I'd go for something a bit different this time:

I did actually use Ableton for triggering samples and things live and it is pretty good at that.
-
How so? I haven't had any problems with cubase, except that it closes "unexpectedly" when I close it intentionally.
This was a few years back but it seemed to crash randomly when there were a lot of VST's running.
-
I've used Reaper for as long as I can remember. I always found Cubase a bit unreliable and Reaper has the advantage that it's free.
-
Flange is just a more aggressive phase effect but I'm pretty sure it was the phase 90.
-
If I'm recording to click tracks I use the one in Reaper, it lets you set exactly the tone you want.

I recall Tom! found the guy (daniel bull) on Facebook a couple of years back when they were his pedals. He was surprised that they were still floating around apparently
There isn't much information to be honest. He built pedals for maybe about 2 or so years back in the mid 2000s, and used to post here and sell through ebay.
This pretty much.
-
Ha that pedal is working its way around KnT. I seem to remember it being pretty good at making laser sounds.

Please use the appropriate threads to discuss this:
Manson Guitars: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=88325
MB-1 Thread: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=60688
You can get them directly through Mansons although I think the MB-2's are all sold out and it was a one off batch.
-
Guitar Pro shows the piano notes for each part.
-
But I would probably argue that it isn't rare.
All I'm trying to say is that with the cost you are asking, I would rather ring up Mansons, and have them build me an MB-1 to the spec I want. I would save money (though not much more but still) from getting it new from them.
Don't get me wrong, I'd have to wait much longer to recieve it, but investment is investment at the end of the day.
Look at it this way, when I saw you had one for sale I got a bit excited and considered it, until I saw the price... and location. All I'm giving you is feedback from the consumer perspective.
They wouldn't build you an MB1 to your spec though. You can't even order a custom in that shape.
-
You'll be lucky to get anywhere near that for it I'm afraid.
-
What I use to do was get the Guitar Pro files from ultimate-guitar and then export the midi from Guitar Pro. That always worked very well.

If it's no good for gigging I don't really see the point in it, surely gigging is only where wireless is useful?

musecasters: Do you make your own necks?
-
Nope I never had the originals. I bought it for £200, I'm not sure if it was second or third hand (or more) when it got to me but it was in mint condition. It doesn't sound like a strat at all though. I would do some sound clips/video but it's not with me at the moment .
-
hopefully his MB-1 won't end up like that pacifica!
was that white strat of yours MIM or MIA? i recently bought this mid 90's MIM squier series (basically a MIM fender with cheaper hardware) fully intending to modify it... but it sounds really nice in its stock form for some reason. still need to change out a few parts due to wear and tear though
MIM but it doesn't have stock pickups, I'm pretty sure it has Bareknuckles in it but I've never opened it up to check what they are. That guitar is the best guitar I've ever played, it plays itself.
-
For a second I thought you were offering that to Bs
We all know it's the guitar Bs really wanted when he ordered his custom.
-
That's my guess too. The screws have springs which are compressed as they're screwed into the body, but I suspect that it was unstable without the additional support. It just seems like such an inelegant solution.
The more I've studied this guitar, the more I'm convinced that Hugh just chucked it together. I suspect that he had this youngster coming in giving him a vague description of what he wanted, and Hugh just got it done as quickly as possible. Stuff like the big rectangular slot for the GK wires, and the piss poor routing on the P90 sort of suggests that Hugh had no idea that his creation would be seen by millions of people worldwide.
I wonder at what point he realised that Muse were sort of a big deal?
I've often thought this also. If he had had any idea how big and how much income that guitar and that man would make his guitar shop I wonder if he would have done things differently.

I watched the vid of you playing a bit of Supremacy, gotta say that it sounds incredible! What's your amp/pedal setup Bob?
-
I think I've decided what I'm doing for non-muse, I kinda want to do something different with the muse ones but haven't decided what yet.
-
I think for the Muse round anything should go.
