    Hi peeps,

Just FYI, I'm now listing lots of my discography on ebay (hope I'm allowed to link to it here!) – click here: My ebay page

As I've got so much stuff it seemed the easiest way. I'm slowly listing things, lots of vinyls are up and promos will be coming soon. Also got quite a lot of the merch that's listed below still going too, let me know if you're interested in anything specific.

    Thanks! :)

Hey folks – I've sold a fair bit of my discography now, still many CDs left and I also still have tons of t-shirts, accessories etc. I've decided that because of the sheer volume of stuff, it's simply too much hassle to individually photograph, list, package and post 200+ t-shirts, CDs and other merch, so anything that doesn't sell in the next week or so will be donated. I've been trying to sell these things for nearly two years and they're taking up too much space, so it's time to part with them, even if I don't end up making much money. If you're interested in any of my things, I'll leave the links here below, send me a DM. Thanks!

Matt said it’s a song he wrote for a “popular tv show” and that it’ll be released in April. People are speculating either black mirror or game of thrones

Pretty sure it's for Stranger Things, what with the entire show basically being a rip off of the TV show and the setlist including two instrumentals of the theme song, I believe? lol. The show doesn't look as awful as I thought it would but then again maybe they're saving most of the dramatic dancing and performances for Europe, who knows. Pray is awesome though, getting such strong Abso vibes from interludes they played on that tour like TAB etc. The falsetto gave me chills

  3. There is no calm down in your shitbag! Your baby is bastard!

(There was once a user who popped in to banter every now and then to use these choice phrases. Good times)

Omg, I remember that! Phew, been a while since I’ve been on the boards but this thread reminded me why I both loved and hated it here, cheers Lyle

Heya! Haven't posted here in a long while, but FYI I'm selling the vast majority of my Muse collection – tons of t-shirts, hoodies, accessories and lots of discography as well. Took me about 12-13 years to collect all of this stuff, and as much as I love it, I simply don't have space any more and don't use it – most of it has been sitting in storage for ages, just seems like a waste – I'd rather it goes to fans! I still love Muse, ofc, I've just calmed down a bit with my crazy spending, haha.

Here's the link to all my things: My Muse collection

Drop me a message if you're interested in anything :) I've listed a few clothes on ebay from the Drones era that aren't on that link here as well: ebay listings

    Cheers!

EDIT: Before anyone asks: All OoS and Showbiz era tees/hoodies have now gone, sorry :(

  5. Hi guys,

Not sure if I'm allowed to link to eBay here, but I've decided it's the easiest way to sell my discography, so I'm slowly but surely listing everything on there.

Here's the link to my page, you can find quite a few vinyls and CDs on there now, and I'll be putting promos up soon as well: My ebay page

I've also got tons of merch that I have yet to list – literally hundreds of t-shirts and other assorted things, I posted about them from my Flickr here: Entire collection

Lots of stuff has gone already but as you can see there's quite a lot so let me know if you're interested in something specifically. OoS and Abso tees/hoodies are all gone.

    Thanks v much!

  6. Not once have I been directed to the box office site! This is going to be carnage!

Same. Some people are in but I'm getting nothing, it's already too similar to previous ticket experiences where it just crashes and only a handful of people actually get through ughhh :'(

  8. Let's rank, fuck it:

    Glorious + Showbiz @ Shepherd's Bush Empire (2017)

    Futurism @ Zepp (2014)

Megalomania @ Royal Albert Hall (2011)

    Dead Star @ V Festival + Fury @ Royal Albert Hall (2008)

City Of Delusion @ Birmingham NEC (2006)

Supremacy + Falling Down @ Unipol Arena (2012)

Fury @ Sydney Entertainment Centre (2007)

    Agitated @ Barrowland Ballroom (2015)

Uprising + Citizen Erased @ Wembley Stadium (2010)

MK Ultra @ Palasport Olimpico (2009)

Fury @ Montreux Jazz Festival (2016)

    Hysteria @ Earls Court (2005)

    Hysteria @ Eden Project (2013)

I'm sure this is missing Unintended from Wembley 07? It was a vid, I think we got it in 07 or 08 – I remember that and CoD were my fave presents for a long time  But this year's, Futurism and Fury at RAH are standouts for me <33

  9. Being a bit of a tech noob but when I 'save page as' and add .mp3 extension on my mac the songs don't seem to play :erm: I'm probs missing something obvious, lol. Wanna add them to my iPod and listen to all the Muse Xmas presents we've had :xmas:

UPDATE: I just used Firefox instead of crappy Safari and it worked, lol.

  10. ELLO :awesome:

I can't even watch/listen to any of this damn gig fml.

    So much salt

No but srsly where are bootlegs these days if not on ML? I'm well out of touch with bootlegs.

    AYYY :D

Hahaha, oh I totally get it, I would've been raging as well if I wasn't there… fucking band  Thing is, I can't seem to access the ML community, it's like permanently broken when I try to go on there :'( I thought it was just temporarily down, but it's been like that for weeks on my screen. I need SYS!!

  11. I 'whatever trevor'ed him, I'm so mature

And i might've suggested the tortoise picks the next setlist.

I've blocked him, I'm that mature  Don't have time for Bells on IG but I don't agree with people sending him or the band abusive comments, trolls. But that's an epic suggestion, tortoise should SO pick the next setlist, haha!

  12. I love it when my iTunes makes a great Muse decision for me.

I just booted it up this morning - first song, at random, is New Born. Untick shuffle, listen to OoS in full for the first time in ages .

That always happens to me, it's awesome. Intro on shuffle led to Abso in full… so much more epic when you haven't heard the album in a while :awesome: Actual chills during RBS <3333

  13. I was there :awesome:.

    Manchester MEN, November 11 2006: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2006/manchester-evening-news-arena-manchester-england-1bd7b58c.html

I thought I'd never get to see Showbiz live. Then I saw it at two gigs in a row (Eden Project 2006 and then Manchester).

I hate you :p It's the only song I'm actually desperate for now. I know I'll never ever get HCM or other obscure ones, but I'm still holding out for Showbiz!

Lol, only just clocked on to this poll thingy… it's fun and harmless, but hopefully people realise it'll have zero influence whatsoever on any shows, otherwise there'll be some pretty disappointed fans  Matt's the setlist king and he plays it pretty damn safe, especially at big shows. Muse's version of pushing the boat out with sets on this tour is CE, Apocalypse, Bliss, MOTP etc making it into the set every so often. If I got two of those plus Matt bashing the shit out of his guitar on one of the dates I'm going, I'll consider myself v lucky ;)

  14. Are you high or something?

Took the words out of my mouth

Most of this tour's setlists have been pretty dire. If one gig has ALL of these, I'd have to bottle them :p:

    Starlight

    Guiding Light

    Feeling Good

    Madness

    Revolt

    Aftermath

    Undisclosed Desires

    Resistance

    Explorers

    Uprising

Any Hullabaloo songs would be epic, I don't get why people are hating on those live :phu:

  15. Dead Inside 7/10

    Drill Sergeant + Psycho 8/10

    Mercy 6/10

    Reapers 9/10

    The Handler 10/10

    JFK + Defector 7/10

    Revolt 5/10

    Aftermath 5/10

    The Globalist 10/10

    Drones 4/10

I'm surprised at the amount of Dead Inside loving  It's good, and way better than the likes of Madness or UD, but I don't find it a standout track. I'm basically at a point where I just repeat Reapers, The Handler and The Globalist and ignore the rest. Occasionally I'll listen to Psycho cos it's still super beefy and fun and reminds me of the epic Psycho Tour days, but the rest is kinda forgettable, tbh. I do like DI, JFK+Defector but again, by my high Muse standards, they're average.

  16. If all of the lyrics on Drones were of the same standard of The Handler and The Globalist I'd have no problem with it at all. Tbh the lyrics don't really bother me though

I agree those songs are probably the best, lyrically, on the whole album (and also two of the best on Drones generally, imo, along with Reapers, which I don't think is a coincidence!)

  17. But take the good ones, the chorus of New Born, the whole of Citizen Erased, "paradise comes at a price that I am not prepared to pay".

Also as mentioned above, Micro Cuts does a great job at displaying a nightmare (as it is based on one)

The fact is, OoS lyrics have hardly been a contested topic because there aren't enough 'bad' ones to argue about! Any that exist are outshined by the good ones, as you've mentioned. Drones, on the other hand, basically has something cringeworthy on almost every song, lol.

  18. If, say, Butterflies and Hurricanes was released now, people would say the lyrics are dumbed-down and bad.

There's a difference between being easy to understand and being outright bad. Bliss lyrics are very straightforward to follow but that doesn't mean they're bad. Revolt lyrics are oversimplified, so they feel dumbed down.

The message has a lot to do with it: Drones (album) seems like Matt's trying to sing about some anti-establishment srs bsns lofty political shit that's all too difficult for us to understand so he waters it down to something juvenile; B&H and Bliss, as examples, are just personal messages. Ironically, they're simpler in meaning but feel less simple lyrically.
