Yup, no details/code here either.

Something Human sounded wonderful though. Far less mechanical than the album version. A bit more human, dare I say .
Come at me, I'm tired af.
-
Fucking hell, the mix on Dark Side .
-
Troll. Has been for years.
-
I enjoyed that DD. It's still a dreadful song though.
-
Finally remembered what the vocals reminded me of - Free Radicals by The Flaming Lips. The phrasing is very similar in style.
-
I’m a sucker for tambourine tbh.
-
‘Worst ever’.

But why not announcing all cities at the same time?
I can see them playing arena (USA) and stadium (EU) shows at the cities mentioned in the list (there you'll have a presale, if you buy the album).
But no show in Belgium? No show in Austria? No show in Denmark? Finland? Poland?
So I guess, they will add some festivals, but there will be no Presale opportunity.
- Belgium: Rock Werchter
- Austria: Novarock
- Denmark: Roskilde
- Germany: Hurricane/Southside
- Spain: Bilbao BBK / Bencassim
- Finland: Provinssirock
- Poland: Open'er
More locations to be added. This is just the first announcement. There will be more. When you announce a ‘headline’ tour, you don’t refer to fests. That’s a norm. ‘Headline’ shows = those with your own full production.
-
‘Headline show’ = the band’s own headline show, not a festival headline show. They’ll do festivals summer 2020.

No.
Bristol . Must be Ashton Gate.
Also:
#Teignville . Is it a sign? 10 years after Seaside Rendezvous...

I’d love a TMV cover. But I think Muse could slay Inertiatic. Or an epic, heavy version of Televators or The Widow.
-
Loving this. But then, I loved Revolt too.
-
As ever though, everything needs amping up - it feels a bit light. I wish they'd throw more at it. Moar beef.
-
The 'pressure building' bit with the bass and tambourine is nice as hell.
-
Okay, I listened.
It's pretty nice and a bit different for Muse - big Jack White meets Revolt vibe.
I love the horns backing up the riff.
-
Nah, will be three of the five known.

Boy are you in for something tomorrow
I’m on holiday in France having a quick Muse board interlude before bed. It can wait ‘til I get home frankly.
-
It’s also obvs worth repeating complexity =/= quality.
Dead Inside blends complexity with quality superbly. Plug In Baby, by comparison, blends simplicity with familiarity superbly. Both though are fantastically ‘Musey’ songs.
TC, in particulat for me, is contrived, repetitive, clichéd and distinctly un-Musey. It has few redeeming features.
-
I haven’t heard Pressure yet, but for once, I think LiT has a point. TC is possibly the laziest Muse song since Exo-Politics, and TDS, SH and DD push absolutely no boundaries at all. I find them all, to a greater or less extent, contrived in the extreme. All four songs I’ve heard so far feel ‘lite’ for Muse, especialy when you compare them to Dead Inside, Reapers and The Handler (the pre-Drones tracks).
-
I don't think Muse have ever taken that active a role in their promotion, definitely since Warner took over.
-
I think Follow Me would fit well on this tour.
Heck, let's get Endlessly back too.

TDS sounds pretty 'dece live.

Oh man, I kind of love that. I love the sludgy, stompy, tribal feel and the ridiculously OTT robo voice. The little snippet of vocal you hear right at the end reminds me of the vocal delivery in Sign Of The Times. Dare I say it's also a bit NIN/Gary Numan even early nu-metal, sort of Hybrid Theory/Meteora vibe.
That chorus though sounds ripe for some srs beefing up live too.
