  1. seriously, don't be afraid. There is safety in numbers and it's not that rough. And if you were to fall, a sea of hands will pull you back up. It's not like a hardcore metal gig with like two twats running side to side, swinging their arms and legs while everyone else stands out the way for fear of losing a tooth. A muse mosh pit is much more classic in a sense, that you're bouncing, and sort of bashing against people with your arms at worst. I'm not that big, but I love the muse mosh pits they are some of the best! And that gig was something special. Even the knights circle pit. It looks worse than it is. If enough people just go for it when the riff kicks in its like a big bouncy castle of hype!!!
  2. Hmm... I thought some parts were a bit unlcear in the pit, like the Bass and Drums jam, I couldn't hear the bass notes at all. But seated,it was reallly really great sound for us
  3. 100 percent this for me too. Never understood it's praise but different strokes and all that
  4. Just got back from 2nd night... bit gutted I was seated for SS and CE, and drill sergeant, but the crowd looked proper weak compared to lastnight where we had a good thing going. End of reapers, no pit. End of stockholm, no pit. Overall, it was worth going twice so you can see the stage production better but wouldn't have gone standing twice. We were debating trying to swap the tickets but we were way too sore from last night. Glad to see the end of the tour, just to see what they do next in terms of gig size/layout. Overall it's been my least favourite pair of gigs, like your least favourite sex position. But it's still sex.
  5. Thanks for the tips guys. Canny gutted like, but I've seen some good shows. Download, Manchester club show. It's always going to be hard to top those two in a row. Shit, I'll still get to see CE tomorrow. Gotta remember there's still starving children in africa... ..who have only ever heard Madness!!
  6. Man, got the rough end of the rotations tonight. Luckily the crowd were fairly decent infront of matt at the start, I thought they'd be tame but we all had a blast. Bit gutted about the rotation though. Got seated tickets tomorrow but way too sore to try and swap them for standing again. Can anyone with more setlist knowledge confirm, tomorrow will be PiB instead of Bliss, usoe or ap instead of Feeling good (urgh) and Stockholm syndrome instead of hysteria. Also maybe CE instead of feeling good or sth?
  7. Have you seen long sleeve? I fancy a new one. I have far too many muse t-shirts as it is, but only one long sleeve.
  8. so people who actually want to jump around.. what's a good place? I was thinking infront of matt at the start, the crowd is deeper there so more room to piss off less people?
  9. That's usually our cue to move around and find the biggest mosh pit. There's normally a couple big ones around the arena. Problem is with this 360 stage set up it's going to be harder to move around for instance from one side to the other, and going to create more smaller pockets rather than one or two big free-for-alls that I really love.
  10. I can't enjoy the way the distorted guitar is doubled and delayed slightly in the other channel. It can work, but for some reason on this release I really notice it and it sucks my enjoyment down slightly. Rome has good sound, if not very compressed, but yes they cut a lot of tracks from it to stop doubling of tracks over that and HAARP I think? Took out all the jams as well. I read somewhere that a dvd of this tour is coming out, some artist somewhere was quoted as saying they are doing one. No sauce to hand, sorry.
  11. Is it publicly accessible at this venue? I always assumed once venues get to this size, it's really hard to get a glimpse of load in/load out spots. I may well try my luck at this show though.. I tried at Manchester Academy and got bored and cold... gettin too old for this shi' haha
  12. I personally bought my ticket after the club shows, and Matt mentioned in interviews that they would play a heavy set (sort of a given) my favourite side of muse, so it was worth the drive down
  13. Sorry, I was being very UK-based in my comments. I forget they play a lot of european festivals. But here in UK, essentially away from last Glastonbury, their sets have been pretty good overall?
  14. u high? went to download. got great set. and i'm sure those who went to leeds/reading were happy enough! As for this year's glasto... we'll see. I don't see it being as great as those
  15. Setlists really heating up. I'd rather hear him sing a note in tune but lower, than try and screech the top note, fuck the pitch up, and wreck his voice for other songs. I won't loose too much sleep over not hearing the top note in Take a Bow if it means the setlists stay this good
  16. This is a great idea, until you realise the ticket touts would decimate the smaller gig knowing it would hold more value per ticket to the fans. Maybe it would work if they did the credit card thing again.
