  1. It's not really that that bugs me. Touting will continuen regardless whether it be through legalised touting/scalping, through eBay or on the streets.

Muselive is a FAN-SITE, surely the ideal place to act as an ethical, fan-to-fan ticket exchange? But no, team up with Viagogo and watch the £££s pour in. I know it costs a lot to keep a site like Muselive online but this is just not on imho.

I know, I was just thinking that how much they are charging for O2 Arena tickets, that'll work out more than what I've paid for tickets & travel for Limoges...

  2. anybody in or around london:

we (industry) are playing a gig in monto water rats in london, near kings cross on 28th november. there's an age limit - 18 years old, but should be a good gig! :) we'll have some new songs, launching the new band name and also a sparkly new cd ;)

    FACEBOOK EVENT: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=140898456403&index=1

If I can be there I will be, just off to France around that time, so can't make any promises until everything is booked.

  3. Why don't you want anything through your monitor

Because where I'm usually playing guitar, it's completely unnecessary and would rather try and keep the stage volume down as it's not nice not hearing things for several days afterwards, so just find it easier to tell them not to bother.

  4. I'm not sure if he had the same hassles when he was in The Veil, but there used to always be a scrum for the monitors.

I still confuse SE's when I tell them not to put anything through my monitors

Never really cared where I am on stage, never look at or pay attention to the audience. One gig I spent the first couple of songs in the little band room bit just off the stage because it was so dark onstage, then clicked I still had sunglasses on

  5. Depends on how you work, I guess.

I've been working on our EP for a month now, still not done.

If I was doing an EP, it'll take me forever, turn into a whole album for a little while, then after about 6 months realise I should concentrate on a handful of songs

  6. Scratch re-edit/remix/mix of a few old tracks: http://cid-bea1f60af6754509.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/live%20mix%20v1.0.mp3

Mostly midi with audio on top so the band can learn it :D

Plenty of cow bell abuse :awesome:

No music to plug at the moment though, need to fork out some moneh for 60 days of mixing..

60 days of mixing? You sure? Nothing should take two months to mix unless you're paying a bunch of total amateurs.

The song I linked to yesterday, written, mixed, mastered in a total of about 3 days.

  7. any new tracks on them?

Nothing that isn't on the Myspace page, but all reworked.

Crimson Regret (Max Headroom remix, the one currently on Myspace, but with added mellotron trance strings :awesome:)

Complex Static (Completely re-recorded with guitars, strings and a harp, not actually on Myspazz yet)

Ping Pong Pro (Got some vocal samples now)

oFFoNoFF (What's on myspace, with the vocals and stuff, but better mixed and mastered so it doesn't clip all over the place)
