Srsly, morals? Integrity? 'Fan-site'? - Yeah right .
Still £60-£70 for a ticket even with the 'discount'!

anybody in or around london:
we (industry) are playing a gig in monto water rats in london, near kings cross on 28th november. there's an age limit - 18 years old, but should be a good gig! we'll have some new songs, launching the new band name and also a sparkly new cd
FACEBOOK EVENT: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=140898456403&index=1
If I can be there I will be, just off to France around that time, so can't make any promises until everything is booked.

Download you bastards
Ok, they are the wav files, so pretty big, but at least you can do what you like with them then, apart from make money from them.
Ballsed this up and didn't make the tracks downloadable! They are now, click on the down arrows on the right hand side

It's usually a good idea to bring one person along who knows the band and how you want to sound, unless you actually know the sound guy you are working with.
-
You should see the look on their face when I hand them two cables and tell them to pan them left & right
YAY! At last a guitarist with some sense of volume. Not really, I still like things loud
-
Why don't you want anything through your monitor
Because where I'm usually playing guitar, it's completely unnecessary and would rather try and keep the stage volume down as it's not nice not hearing things for several days afterwards, so just find it easier to tell them not to bother.
-
I'm not sure if he had the same hassles when he was in The Veil, but there used to always be a scrum for the monitors.
I still confuse SE's when I tell them not to put anything through my monitors
Never really cared where I am on stage, never look at or pay attention to the audience. One gig I spent the first couple of songs in the little band room bit just off the stage because it was so dark onstage, then clicked I still had sunglasses on

well technically board.muse.mu
Unless you're saying the people here aren't...
You'll soon learn K&T's very special reputation on this forum, which we are keen to preserve

Inspired by Haze, I moved my stuff to Bandcamp - great site!
???
I've not used Bandcamp yet, been trying out Soundcloud though as there's a way of getting my stuff onto Facebook without all the bullshit involved.

I knocked up a quick website last night for people to download a new "Deeper EP" consisting of various songs...some new...some old...
Really enjoying this!
Saviour (Bishkin mix) is seriously making me wish I was pilled up

Actually, that reminds me... We were going to add cowbell to something
I wouldn't be surprised if there are websites dedicated to where you'd put a cowbell
No feedback for my song anyone?
-
Depends on how you work, I guess.
I've been working on our EP for a month now, still not done.
If I was doing an EP, it'll take me forever, turn into a whole album for a little while, then after about 6 months realise I should concentrate on a handful of songs
-
Scratch re-edit/remix/mix of a few old tracks: http://cid-bea1f60af6754509.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/live%20mix%20v1.0.mp3
Mostly midi with audio on top so the band can learn it
Plenty of cow bell abuse
No music to plug at the moment though, need to fork out some moneh for 60 days of mixing..60 days of mixing? You sure? Nothing should take two months to mix unless you're paying a bunch of total amateurs.
The song I linked to yesterday, written, mixed, mastered in a total of about 3 days.

New song done, mp3 available here - http://www.sendspace.com/file/62oizf

I've uploaded them to myspace now.
-
any new tracks on them?
Nothing that isn't on the Myspace page, but all reworked.
Crimson Regret (Max Headroom remix, the one currently on Myspace, but with added mellotron trance strings )
Complex Static (Completely re-recorded with guitars, strings and a harp, not actually on Myspazz yet)
Ping Pong Pro (Got some vocal samples now)
oFFoNoFF (What's on myspace, with the vocals and stuff, but better mixed and mastered so it doesn't clip all over the place)
-
I've done some 4-track CDs and will happily post them anywhere for one whole pound. No fancy artwork or anything though.
-
Got bored and did a new version of Crimson Regret and uploaded it to the 3SC Myspace page. Enjoy!
-
People are always going to resort to touts though...
Then people shouldn't bitch about touts.
If you buy your tickets from them, you are about as much of a fan as the touts are.

I know, I was just thinking that how much they are charging for O2 Arena tickets, that'll work out more than what I've paid for tickets & travel for Limoges...
