  1. I hate Dig Down and Thought Contagion but I like Something Human. I'll wait a while before buying this album because, if it's all like the first two, I'm not interested. I'll definitely go to see them when they next come to the UK though. One of the best live bands ever.

  2. Poor timing over in England, lads

And Wales. Barely had time to get home from work and eat. Missed the first 15 minutes, volume too loud in cinema so that sound distorted and it ended at 8.40.:'( I see lots of people are complaining about the sound from other cinemas and one person was told at the cinema that the producer sent the wrong mix.

  3. So my local Odeon comes up on the search cinemas page, but when I click the link through to the Odeon page my cinema isn't on the drop-down menu. What gives? Is it worth getting my hopes up? Might it be added later? :erm:

Also: This one-night only screening seems to have some screenings for 7th August. There's a filter to search for which date you want.

ALSO: The Odeon page says "Previews 06/07/18", but I've got no idea if it actually is being screened anywhere on the 6th.

Same for Showcase Cinemas. I got tickets for Vue.

  4. I don't want to recreate the past either, but I also don't want any more Dig Downs or Resistance album stuff. This is a mature group with the 'old skool' sound that I prefer. They're not singing about the 'hot girl in the club' they're talking about Thought Contagion: How belief spreads through society. That's what I want. So am a happy Muser.

This is musically as bad as Dig Down. I like the lyrics. They're good. The main reason I listen to Muse is for their music. This just isn't up to their usual standards.

  5. I don't want to hear 'old Muse;' I want to hear songwriting which has matured. They're all 40 now, aren't they? It's no use listening to fans moan that they're not as good as they used to be and then trying to recreate that. They're not as good as they used to be but this is entirely down to Matt's songs. As performers they just get better and better. If all three wrote the songs together perhaps they shouldn't do this again?
