HD Digital version of Simulation Theory

Will there be an HD Digital download version of Simulation Theory offered in the store like there is for Drones?

Qobuz only propose a 24/44.1 version as HD. A 24/96 version is available on hdtracks but not available in France (I will try with VPN).

I purchased it from HDTracks, though I would have preferred to purchase it direct from Muse's website. At least I was able to use 'HDNOV9' to get 15% off.

 

All tracks aren't 24/96 though. Some are 24/48, and one is 24/44.1. Worse yet, it looks like it there's just as much dynamic compression as the MP3 files.

I bought the HD versions of 2nd Law and Drones and they are so much better sounding.

 

I WANT ST IN HD! Bought the super deluxe LP and CD pack hoping that there would be a dl link or something.

7digital: FLAC only 44.1kHz 16-bit (like CD)

Qobuz: FLAC 44.1kHz 24-bit

HDtracks: FLAC 96kHz 24-bit, but like jpmahala says, some tracks are only 44.1 and 48kHz

HighResAudio: FLAC - the same as HDtracks

You can also choose MQA. The logo says "MQA Studio", but resolution and bitrate are unknown

Onkyo Music: FLAC MQA 44.1kHz 16-bit

Acoustic Sounds: FLAC 96kHz 24-bit, with the note "Mixed Resolution" - like HDtracks / HighResAudio

Tidal: FLAC - without further information.

 

Right now I'm testing the free trial month of Tidal streaming. The album is MQA Master. I set the soundquality to 'Master' and exclusive mode. My DAC says that it is 96kHz.

 

I do not know what to think about MQA. At first, I'll need a software player that can do that.

Does anyone know why not all songs are available in full resolution?
