    I have a friend who is telling me an unseen version of Aftermath was included in the film. I have a huge feeling he's just pulling my leg, as I doubt it would suddenly be played live for the film, but can anyone verify this anyway?

     

    Aftermath was only in the opening, as the studio version.

    Really? ‘Cos I never thought I’d catch myself praising Rome over another film but, annoying black & white/couples snogging shots aside, it looks gorgeous.

     

    I think those were only there for the sake of transitions between cut songs (and Explorers)

    Actually when you put it like that... Yea actually, I suppose it could work. Morgan and Matt would have to swap for it to work I think since Matt would already be on the piano and Morgan would need to play the guitar in that case.

     

    Not unless Matt decides to play the outdo on guitar and Morgan also does it on piano with him. How did they do the outro this year?

    It certainly would be exhausting, but Dom said the same thing about Knights being at the end of the set.

     

    For me it wasn't anything to do with the Globalist being a sequel to CE, in fact I really don't believe that at all. The idea for me came about because they're some of the few Muse songs that can be categorised as 'Progressive Rock'.

     

    Sure, B&H is also prog rock, but it wouldn't fit as well to either of the aforementioned songs, methinks.

     

    You wouldn't flow the CE outro into the B&H intro?

    He had to change the 'Don't leave me out in the cold' as well. Even though the falsetto sounds beautiful, it's sad he will probably never belt the note live like in the studio version. He was unable to do it in 2015/16 and just sang it very weakly instead. Most of the 2nd law singles probably won't return live because of his voice.
