What about a DVD/BluRay release? I'm sure Van Velthoven and staff haven't worked hard just for a one-time cinema screening, have they?
They'll announce it on the 13th of July
-
I think that KoC is the best closer. It is boring now but in a vacuum I think it's the best
-
Matt sounds better than in recent gigs. Hope Showbiz sticks till june
-
what
It's to make them br00tal. Drone figures aren't metal enough
-
Muse's going to play like SS and Hysteria b2b as a heavy part of a show. Don't get your hopes up
-
On some other cinema sites too

For starters, your scores for the albums are entirely subjective, and touring "regularly" isn't really a measure of quality?
6-7 is an average from critics and fans. I didn't talk about quality, I was talking about messiness and they aren't a messy band by any means. They just aren't good as they once were
-
Okay, so Muse isn't as great as they once were but are they really a mess? They release 6-7/10 albums and tour regularly, occasionally they do something cool for hardcore fans. What's really messy in that?

Barrier walks are great. Those people who waited for 10+ hours should get something a bit special

I think I'm one of the 2 fans of RHCP on this forum but I think that most bands should structure their sets like them (there's really only one Pearl Jam so that's asking too much). Radiohead rotates as much as RHCP but sometimes their shows are full of hits and sometimes they don't have any so it's not balanced (still MILES better than Muse)
In spoiler there're last 2 setlists. They played 30 different songs in 2 shows, they "somehow" managed to play some new songs, hits, some 35 years old stuff, covers of Iggy Pop and Stevie Wonder and different fan favorites. Setlists are totally different but both have the same "weight" and you can never see those arguments like we have regularly here about which city/country got fleeced
Muse kinda did that during Drones festival tour in 2015 but they stopped completely during the regular tour and I really think that shouldn't be a thing for a high level musicians like them

Also in Germany Billy Talent and Rise Against are for some reason really really big. I swear Billy Talent had a bigger crowd than RHCP and Black Sabbath at Rock im Park in 2016
-
Random. But then that can happen. I know Editors are huge in Belgium and Holland, but in the UK, I can still get tickets to all of their shows for their October tour, which is all in academy/theatre rooms.
Also, I'm not entirely sure who Volbeat are. Which might be further proof I live in my own little bubble musically.
Volbeat are Elvis and Metallica crossover band from Denmark, they're big in Scandinavia, Benelux countries, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. People hardly know them outside of that part

Muse playing Saturday\Sunday at RaR/RiP. Day tickets 95€
-
Ah ok, like a Reading/Leeds difference? I’ll keep it in mind.
Yeah. Plus I'll probably go for the day ticket for RiP (unless they get announced for Rock Werchter) which makes it even better

Jedino Inmusic da podigne cenu karte duplo pa će imati para za Muse
Mada stvarno bi mogli doći u Jugoslaviju opet

I’d love it. I’ve already travelled to France, Italy, Norn Iron and Scotland for gigs. Could end up going to Rock Am Ring this summer as well, depending on circumstances. Massive amounts of organisational anxiety aside, it’s my favourite thing to do. You’re combining travelling and seeing all these different countries/cities with seeing your favourite acts, potentially doing really special shows.
They won’t go beyond one-off gigs though. You can see how fucked Matt is after just one, let alone 5/6 over a week or two.
Go to Rock im Park if you have a flight to Nuremberg or Munich or something near. I know you're from UK but it really is like 45 minutes difference and but the festival has less people and waaaay less drunken idiots than Rock am Ring. Atmosphere is night and day

Honestly, EM is cool but doesn’t top SBE for me.
Showbiz’s first return, Glorious’ first proper play, Easily’s debut, S4A’s return, Futurism, Assassin ext. + Dead Star opening, crowd singalong for MM, general amazing flowage. Lacked that perfect finale tho.
Don't be jelly

I actually yelled out loud when Dom said Stockholm Syndrome Bigger surprise tonight than Eternally Missed
-
We did it!
-
He really likes it so I guess that's gonna be PiB from now on
-
Crowd definitely looks calmer than the SBE
Looks like they have 0 space to move
-
Unfortunately all this gig is doing now for me is highlighting just how massive the gap in quality is between the new material and the old
To be fair Psycho was great and fitted very well
-
Minimal crowd reaction for Uprising reaction there...
It really needs a break.
Pretty sure it's there so Matt has a break
-
Piss break for me
