    At first I loved the song, now I like it (hype is bad). I give it a 7/10. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think that Madness was more promising as an advance for the record. It showed a band without fear to do something outside its comfort zone. Psycho is a good rock song, but it seems that the band is playing safer. And I love when they experiment and try new things. But it's too soon to judge them, it's only one song, and it's not a bad one.

    If the lyrics were more poetic/"beautiful" the point of the song is missing. I see it as a sort of speech that this sergeant is doing to their soldiers. It would be weird if that turns out to be poetic. It has to be... rude and simple. And I'm not saying that Matt is the best lyricist (not at all), but I think that the lyrics works in this context. Also, as I said before, the "ass" refrain is taken for this speech (I guess...):
