Sorry to swing this thread back off topic but it's just been delivered ( MB2-SE ) and its number 17, the date on the certificate is 10/02/15 so I don't think its pre owned, Rust_Relic might be correct with the ordered but couldn't afford theory. ( from now on all my posts about this guitar will be in the appropriate thread) *back on topic* Wow, thats great news about the court doing so well, I knew there was a call for an affordable MB series but didn't realise how much of a calling. I guess time will tell on this one, I've got a feeling it's not pre owned. It looks too new, I've had a couple of matte black guitars and after a while of playing they tend to shine up. If it is pre owned it's no biggie really, considering that there is only 18 of them in existence. Thanks, Dean

Ahh, I've heard of the prototypes but thought they would never sell them, as this one comes with all the goodies still in their plastic bags I didn't think it would be one of them. My thoughts were to look on the back of the headstock once it arrives, I didn't really manage to look on Saturday as I was trying to hold back the swarms of people glaring at me as I was going about my 'test drive'. I'll post some more information once it turns up (in the appropriate thread to avoid clogging this one up) Thanks Dean

Perhaps, to be honest when Adrian was showing me the guitar it looked very new, there were no signs of play at all and all the plastic films were still in place over the screen surround and the cover plates on the back. *Edit* To be back on topic, cancelling my cort order means somebody gets moved from 2nd run to 1st, when I was originally talking to the guy from cort (wish I knew his name) he told me I was on the first run as I ordered on the 5th of December. I'm not 100% sure what the deal with it was, I originally heard that there was 5 for sale in store, perhaps they brought one of those if they hadn't of sold out, it was still full price so I hope it's not a used one

I was poking around the guitars that they had at the back and noticed they had an MB-2 SE still in the case with a tag on it. It was a no brainer for me. Hopefully it should arrive tomorrow, I'll post pics in the MB2 thread when it does (I couldn't pick it up from the show we just popped in on our way to a friends house) Thanks, Dean

Hi everybody, I've been a long time lurker and a muse fan for years, I joined to tell you all that I attended the Birmingham guitar show last weekend and spoke with Adrian and the guy from Cort (didn't catch his name but he was a great help). When this guitar was announced I thought all my christmases had come at once. All I can say about the guitar is WOW!, I was originally worried about the quality for the price of the guitar, Its got a nice weight to it and the neck feels well made. As far as sound goes acoustically its got a nice ring that you can feel through the body. Once plugged in the Manson designed pick ups come into their own, its a Manson through and through! Unfortunately I spoke with Adrian and cancelled my pre-order because the had something that I thought I would never be able to see in person, let alone purchase. Thank you for reading, Dean
