  1. Right after the lyrics ¨Now you have finally have the code, I have given you the code¨ you can hear what sounds like reversed and sped up voices. Threw it into Audition, slowed it down to 250% and reverse it. Attached the file below.

I'm pretty sure the voices are bits of lyrics from the others songs on the album.

    ¨Dead Inside..¨

    ¨A fucking psycho!¨

    ¨The world just disavows¨

(Backing track possibly from Reapers/The Handler)

    ¨Now I'm a defector¨

    (Something possibly from Revolt/Aftermath)

The Globalist tells the same story as the rest of the album but with a bad ending, so it makes sense that right before the bad ending there are these flashbacks. If anyone can figure out what the others are or correct me that'd be cool.

    Doesn't work :supersad:

  2. I paid R$180,00 to see Muse + U2 on the first row of fans :/

And PJ is cheaper than Muse here in Brasil

Wouldn't that be 3.5 times cheaper?

And it's actually more expensive than what The Rolling Stones ticket cost in Israel a year ago, and people bitched about it here! (In a country where the average wage is 2500$).

  3. Man, this song has grown on me so much. Listening to the CD quality copy with nice headphones really brings out all of the layers in the track. The production on the two tracks we have so far has been incredible, I cannot wait to hear the album. :)

This is what happens when Muse leave the production to guys who know to produce.

Also, Love this song, and Psycho and Can't wait to the album! :D

  4. The melodies are beautiful, and the delivery. The electronic/R&B influences bring together all the best bits of Muse's experimentation over the past decade. I personally think the lyrics aren't half bad at all (especially squeezing in the word pulverised), and the juxtaposition of the last two lines are so stark - they really feel like the set the marker for the ethos of the album, from one extreme to the other. I also really like all the bits of polish that have been laden on the song, the stabs of synth, the layers that build and build and build, the way the guitar solo ties in so perfectly with the rhythm/beats (1.18 in particular is just amazing) in a way the Madness solo, for instance, completely failed to do, and so on.

Oh, and that MASSIVE bass :awesome:.

    :yesey:
