1. Take A Bow
2. New Born
3. Apocalypse Please
4. Sunburn
5. Supremacy
6. Dead Inside (A bit silly maybe considering the album isn't even out)
7. Uprising
-
Fans tend think that the first four albums are masterpieces and the fifth and sixth are let downs.
I've never heard anyone call Showbiz a masterpiece
Inb4 everyone calls it a masterpiece
-
Inb4 Drones is the only song without a drone-variant word in the lyrics
-
Unless you look at the whole song as a really grim lullaby being sung to someone's kid, and then it becomes a bit creepy instead.
You have transformed Explorers for me:LOL:
-
Psycho was on for about 2 seconds at the 1st round of the NFL Draft.
-
Ruled By Secrecy has surely got to be played. It would tie in with the Drones theme nicely aswell
-
Bit Absolution-heavy but whatever, it's my setlist.
Psycho
MK Ultra
The Small Print
Assassin
Bliss
Muscle Museum
Citizen Erased
Apocalypse Please
Hate This And I'll Love You (Piano)
Space Dementia
Dead Inside
Futurism
Defector
Hyper Music
Dead Star
Uno
Plug In Baby
Knights of Cydonia
-Encore-
Fury
Sing For Absolution
Stockholm Syndrome (+riffs)
Reapers
There's more OoS than Absolution on this:LOL:
-
PiB is such a great song and it never fails to get the crowd fully involved
-
I'm all for some of the staples getting dropped for rare songs... but at this point, it's staples dropped because there's too many of them to fit in and still play songs off the new album.
It also seems to be the songs I don't mind seeing repeatedly that get dropped (PiB, Hysteria, SS) while we're doomed to see SMBH, Starlight, and MWAH onto eternity.
SMBH was dropped for a US gig last year so all hope is not lost. I personally would hate seeing Muse without PiB or SS wouldn't feel like a Muse gig without them.
-
I predict that The Handler will be the next single and the video from the DVD will be used as a music video for the song.
-
Never been to a 360 gig so are they really THAT bad? If didn't look that bad when Metallica did it judging from video but then again that's a whole different story. Regardless I suppose they'll definitely be doing this on the European tour as they would be able to sell out every seat in an instant. Can't see that happening in US/Canada though as others have pointed out.
-
I love it. Also you can't make a Muse setlist flow, this is not acdc.
Hysteria
Animals
Knights of Cydonia
Dracula Mountain
United States of Eurasia
Map of the Problematique
Real Muse show... lol
Edit: Found a worse one
New Born
Map of the Problematique
Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)
Guiding Light
Bliss
Hysteria
The flow in the first example is fine IMO. The 2nd example just has two shit songs
-
Yeah, imagine coincidence being a factor.
-
Use to love CE into AP into RBS on the Absolution tour - that was a great run of songs.
SD after RBS sounded so explosive on the Earls Court recording
-
it would be nice to have some tracks segue into each other but I don't think guitar changing is that big of a deal and it doesn't really effect the flow too much for me.
-
don't think madness will get played at the festivals and Dead Inside wouldn't get played that late
I hope Madness doesn't get played but its one of Muse's most well known so it think it will. Despite it being played early at Brighton I have no idea where Dead Inside will be played in the set. Before Madness if its played seems the most logical atm but if not after MOTP like at Brighton looks the best bet.
-
8. Dead Inside
9. Madness
10. Uprising
11. Knights Of Cydonia
Despite how unrealistic this setlist is, I predict this is actually going to be the last 4 songs in the main set for the festivals. Definitely not mid-set though:LOL:
-
I've never really rated IYW but it's your setlist. The only place I could see it possibly coming up in your setlist would be in rotation with TSP but that would be criminal for me as I love TSP.
-
A better rotation would be to replace In Your World with The Groove leaving TaB without rotation and a rotation of The Groove/Futurism. More realistic aswell considering they were both played in the UK tour:)
-
25. The Groove / Take A Bow
This rotation is terrible
-

Absolution was definitely the best era for videos
-
PiB was also incredible at Brighton. Much better than the other times I have seen it
-
Proper noob question here, but what is pro shot video? :$
A video of a performance recorded with proper professional equipment instead of from a camara phone or something from the crowd
