If people are recording on an ipad, or any other tablet, I say it's fair game to play "whoever knocks it out of their hands wins" with the people standing around you

How come it's not written "sold out" on ticketmaster ? Why is it still possible to request tickets ? :/
Because ticketmaster hasn't finished processing payment for every ticket yet
Some tickets might not go through and will be put back on sale at 9am the following day
-
Worth checking for seated tickets RIGHT NOW as I just managed to get 2 myself
any tickets from yesterday that didn't process correctly are sold today

Drones wasn't the last one on the contract, though, Live in Rome would have been. There's an interview where Matt clearly implies he's not resigned, and was going to wait until it was closer to the time of LP7's release to decide how to release it, and was waiting to see what "alternate" methods were available.
They could have just signed back on for one album, though. We don't know.
I noticed this on Spotify earlier (attached)
whereas previous Muse releases have just said "Copyright Warner Music Limited" , Psycho says "Copyright Muse, under exclusive license to Warner Music"
Clearly, they're just using Warner to aid distribution or something then

Assassin?
I'm betting they'll open with either Dead Inside or Drill Sergeant + Psycho, I'm leaning more towards Dead Inside though.
I'd imagine they'd open with Psycho, can't see them opening with a song no one will have heard yet!
Assassin would be fucking wonderful though

Ah sweet, just making sure, I've been to a few gigs with similar things but wanted to make sure as I think standing for this gig will be fucking mental!
Anyone know the capacity?
less than 2000 I think
for comparison, the roundhouse in camden is about 3000

I managed to get 4 tickets (both my girlfriend and I trying)
My girlfriend lives about 200m from Brighton Dome, I couldn't be more excited!!!!

I think the cover is pretty straightforward however I like it. Especially the fact that walking army on screen lacks arms is very impressive for me. Im from a country where media control, political opression and stuff is very high (Turkey) and it is often forgetten that ending opression is only possible by actions of the very lower end of power pyramid. In cover the very lower end is lacking arms, arms as in body part which we use to control and fight and arms as in weapons or skills. So there is literally no hope for them. They are complete drones.
that's a pretty good reading of it!

I'm going to be sad when Map and SMBH go - Map being my fav and SMBH is just lots of fun
Can't see either of them being dropped anytime soon, not on this tour anyway

You can't deny that removing the context would make it infinitely more difficult to discern the meaning. Like saying "a British prime minister" seems similar to Matt saying "there is a time and place", whereas "the current British prime minister" would line up with a hypothetical tweet from Matt that would read "this is the time and place".
If Matt knows the difference between i.e and e.g, which I imagine he does, then he means there is something happening on Sunday in Belfast
Now you may be right and he may not know that, but if he does know that then there really is only one context
-
I know "language evolves" and everything but i.e and e.g both serve very specific and distinct functions and they aren't really interchangeable
i.e is used when there is only one example of what you're referring to "the current British prime minister, I.e David Cameron"
E.g is used to refer to one example of many, "a British person, e.g matt Bellamy"
They actually have pretty much the opposite function to one another so, no, they can't be used interchangeably
Edit: actually "e.g" would have been a great thing for me to put before either of those examples there

If they say the announcement is at 8am we won't have to wait long
The show started at about 6 I think, it's not one of those "we'll announce it on this show" then leave you waiting about an hour things
-
So does this make the Absolute radio announcement tomorrow more or less likely to be Muse?
-
Is this the same gig Absolute Radio were talking about or different? If that is Muse of course
doubt it
I'd imagine anything absolute announce will be London based

Someone have a look and see what time Survival went on iTunes. It was late-ish IIRC
it was premiered on Radio One on Zane's show at about 7:15-7:30ish
I was on holiday at the time and my friend and I went to an internet cafe to listen
Dunno if it went on itunes later than the premier though
-
How long is the banner appearing for ? Still just a split second?
yeah, still no change there
-
Just got hold of my friend who if a former employee of Apple. He said these things usually happen at a set time. He suggested 8pm or midnight (GMT). Just a guess on his part.
all aboard the hype train
next stop, 8pm
choooooo choooo

where did the 7pm idea come from?
blind optimism
bring on 7:10pm!
-
The fuq is Kiesza?
another musician
might surprise you to learn that Muse aren't the only people out there doing the music thing
-
Do you guys think its safe to call it 7pm tonight?
I wouldn't bet on it
But I also wouldn't bet against it
-
Maybe the single will appear as the radio one hottest record, then drop on itunes?
hottest record tonight is Kiesza
-
Ok... now I can admit this artwork is up there along with Origin's as my favourite one.
There. I said it.
congratulations on being possibly the first person EVER to claim that the Drones artwork is your favourite

who's going to try and hack into itunes for us all then, eh?

I'd imagine we're probably looking at the most varied setlists for such a small space of time ever here
Â
They're bound to play a few more new songs on rotation and I'd also imagine some of the rarities/b-sides will be mixed up a bit
Â
And then maybe things like Hysteria will swap out for MotP and Panic Station or something?
