    Sure you’ll be glad to know they’re not quite as far forward as you’re making out or how it may appear from the photos. Set up was done by the guys in the store and it plays lovely, so no complaints on the position of the saddles !

    Hi all, Looking to sell my #94 DR-1 as per following link:https://reverb.com/item/15210988-manson-dr-1-numbers-edition-matthew-bellamy-2016-military-olive-green Fantastic guitar as I'm sure other owners on here will vouch for, but truth be told I don't get enough time to play it:( It's certainly a guitar that's worth way more attention than I've afforded it.     I've only used a Fernandes before so I can't really compare, but I really liked it! I'm not overly interested in what system Matt uses, mainly because he uses both, but aesthetics is definitely something I'm taking into account with this guitar. Hence why I'm spending £150 on bits of aluminium that don't really affect the functionality of the guitar (if anything they'll make restringing more of a pain in the arse)! I particularly don't like the look of the Sustainiac, so coupled with the fact I've never used one and don't have complaints with the Fernandes system, I'm going to hold out! But then again, there's a chance my patience will run out and I'll just bite the bullet and get a Sustainiac:LOL:!

    Apparently MGW don't even have a delivery date from Fernandes:LOL:. Feel like I'm never going to get the guitar:LOL:

    In the bridge? Yeah. Not heard anyone say a bad word about the bridge pickup, so I may as well try it out! I can always upgrade later, but I'm not really planning on it. Hmmm. Everyone seems to be preferring the Sustainiac these days. Caught in two minds:LOL: I'll hold out for the Fernandes for now, but depending on the wait I may end up just going for the Sustainiac!

    I recieved an email from Adrian at MGW today, stating they're still experiencing delays with the Fernandes sustainers but they have Sustainac's ready to install. He said I'd have the guitar by next week if I went with the Sustainac, but I'm going to hold off to get a Fernandes. This wait continues...

    I got an email from Adrian 5 days ago saying that "sustainer models are still about 4 weeks away". He said they're going to route in the meantime. I'm getting a Fernandes system, so I'm not sure about those getting Sustainiacs:)

    Has anyone that's having mods done had any emails recently from MGW? I sent an email stating what I wanted done over a week ago and I've still not heard back The wait is torture

    I got told in an email I got from Mansons, after enquiring about putting 510's on it. This is part of the email I recieved: For all instruments: please let us know if you wish to collect on Friday 20th March or have your instrument shipped. Also please notify us if you have not already done so, if you wish to have modifications added: we can confirm modifications available are: Sustainer addition/Fuzz Factory addition/Custom Hardware Controls/Custom Hardware Machineheads/Special Pack Upgrade Custom Hardware and Set of Gotoh HAP SG381 Machineheads/Upgrade Seymour Duncan or MBK pickups/Coil Tap.

    Anyone going for the machinehead/tuner upgrade? You can upgrade to a set of Gotoh HAP SG381's, along with the custom knurled machineheads.
