  1. Hey, you never know, maybe they will try and get Killer Croc in :p. I wonder when they'll get Robin into the storyline...

Haha, thanks, I'll try to. I do like physics and calculus, but I've got a lot of work.

I'm seeing Harrry Potter too, this weekend :awesome:. Do you have any other plans for the weekend?

Aww, more essays and the dentist - have fun ;).

  2. I didn't see the seventh one either, it was getting horrible reviews (well, they all got horrible reviews...). Wow, it must have taken a lot to break such a tradition! :chuckle:

Have you seen any good movies lately?

    That's good ;).

 I was rooting for Saskatchewan because Montreal beat them last year as well. Saskatchewan was actually going to win, but an awful throw in the last minute cost them the game... I felt bad for them :(.

  3. I hope it'll be Magneto or Xavier, although as you said before that probably won't happen.

The fifth sounds really terrible .

The Grey Cup is like the Stanley Cup (NHL hockey) and the Super Bowl (NFL), but for the Canadian Football League... so the Grey Cup is the championships in canadian football, and the final is what I watched on Sunday. It's called the Grey Cup because... the trophy is, uh, silver :p. Pretty much. This year (the 98th Grey Cup) the Montreal Alouettes won against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Sorry, long explanation, I'm a huge canadian football fan :D.

    Thanks, I'll need it!

  4. Yeah, there are so many characters! Do you know who the main character will be, though?

I'll add it to my movie list :D.

It was okay, I thought it was pretty smart (in a way), but halfway through I was thinking that it was getting a bit tiring.

I've been baking a lot, so I probably shouldn't have an extra pie lying around :chuckle:.

It was fine, I watched a bit of the Grey Cup. Lots of studying, though.

  5. :$ Ahh, my bad (again :p) I thought the First Class movie was the sequel. So... do you know who will be in the actual sequel?

I haven't seen Pulp Fiction (I really should), or Reservoir Dogs... but Inglourious was great :D.

 I didn't know that it wouldn't have Matt Damon in it, that's too bad!

I watched Saw IV last night, and the song for the ending credits was from one of my Japanese bands! Anyways...

Sounds good, I feel like eating Thanksgiving food right now :p.

    How was your weekend?

  6. I agree, he's the best actor of the three of them... I think Harry has become a bit dislikable, not really a hero, compared to the first few films...

Yeah, that bothered me too :noey:.

One thing that was right, though, in the Spiderman movies was the editor of the Daily Bugle, I thought he was portrayed perfectly.

Hopefully it'll be better, I like how it's about Xavier and Magneto.

Yeah the first two were awesome :awesome:, third one not so much...

Sorry, I meant to say that he had plans for doing a third movie :p... you're right, it's quite a few years away.

Do you like Quentin's other films? I loved Inglourious Basterds :D.

The Bourne Legacy should come out in 2012, can't wait for that :awesome:!

You're welcome, I'm glad it was a good Thanksgiving .

  7. Happy Thanksgiving :awesome:!

  8. Yeah, hopefully. I can't imagine Aunt Petunia as a kid, though!

Draco's my favourite, then I think Snape, Ron, and Umbridge - actually, after the books I hated her, but her portrayal in the movies made me change my mind. I can't wait to see Molly face Bellatrix in the next movie :awesome:.

Yeah, they didn't do a good job on Venom :noey:.

X Men Origins :chuckle:... that was a bad movie. So many cheesy scenes... and of course Wolverine, born in Canada, had to be a lumberjack. So stereotypical :chuckle:.

Another movie I thought was pretty bad was Terminator Salvation :noey:

On the other hand, another Kill Bill movie is in the works, the first two were awesome :D.

  9. I hope so, that was from one of my favourite chapters of the book.

Oh... I guess I should read the last few books again!

That was a funny scene :chuckle:.

Haha, yeah Umbridge is just so perfectly annoying, she is very fun to hate ;).

I cringed when I saw the strutting part . Also when Eddie was first changing into Venom, it was awkward when he looked up, evily smiled, and then pounced towards the camera :noey:...

Haha, that video actually made so much sense, it fit really well .

  10. July... about 8 months :(.

I'm looking forward to more of them of too. It was too bad that Snape seemed to be really important at the beginning of the film, but then you never see him again after that first 10 minutes!

Haha, I was really confused too about the mirror shard, I can't remember any of that from before :noey:. It's a two way mirror? Oh :p.

Yeah, the dinner table scene was a good scene, I don't know what my favourite was though. Maybe when Harry, Ron, and Hermione were in the ministry, looking for Umbridge. :chuckle:

Me too! I think scenes like that are usually awkward, like in Spiderman 3 when MJ was making the omelette and dancing with Harry... that just popped into my head...

  11. Yeah, Daniel Craig is in it.

It was amazing! Of course I can't wait for the last one, it'll be EPIC.

    When Dobby died... :supersad:

    Now we can discuss ;).

I really hope that Draco has a bigger part in the next movie, and that he'll save Harry's life or something (that's not in the book, but I think it would make a nice addition)...

Do you know who cast the patronus of the doe that led Harry to Gryffindor's sword? (I know who did, just wondering if you do)

The way the Ministry of Magic was protrayed reminded me of the German government in World War II.

    What were you thinking about?

  12. I just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Very good movie! Disturbing, though.

I'm seeing Harry Potter tomorrow night :awesome:.

Oh, good that they included it. Yeah, I'm sure it will be sad, and Dobby's death too :(.

Yes, please wait :p! I'm sure there will be much to talk about :D.

:chuckle: Yeah, weather is weird like that. I am pretty lucky, snow has come really early this year. It'll be a white christmas.

  13. Maybe.

I love math... hmm, I guess I should move on ;). (enough said :chuckle:.)

Wow, if that's true... how could they do that? Not good. Maybe they'll include it in part 2.

It's snowing :awesome: here in Vancouver, what's the weather like for you?

  14. I watched Shaun Of The Dead on the weekend :D, I had forgotten a lot since I last saw it.

That never occured to me, I thought it just meant gore . Haha, you're right of course, it could mean courage...

:chuckle: It would also depend on what kind of zombies they are - crazy strong and fast ones like 28 weeks later, or the stereotypical stumbling ones from Shaun Of The Dead. I'd prefer the latter :yesey:. Maybe then we'd have a chance...

Yeah, good point, I wouldn't like that. But do zombies even have the capacity to think, or are they just mindless...

Oops, sorry! When it comes around you can enjoy your pumpkin pie. :p

    How was your weekend?

  15. Oh. Ahh, I really want to know now :erm:. I think Batman has some of the most interesting antagonists.

    I don't know...

They're doing... okay, I guess. I'm not nearly as big a hockey fan as with CFL football, I'm more of a casual fan - I don't pay as much attention to how well they're doing.

    Me too, I can't wait :D.

Nothing much, just lots of physics and calculus to study. What's new for you?

  16. Haha, yeah, it would be hard to pull off... maybe they'll bring the Riddler back. I'm very interested in seeing who the villian will be :D.

Do you think Batman is a superhero, or just a hero? (he doesn't have superpowers...)

Not really, all my focus will be on our hockey team now.

Aww, at least the rest of your weekend was good. That sucks :(.

I watched the third episode anyways, it was good :awesome:. The last part about the guy sawing his hand off reminded me of Saw...

  17. Me too (about comics), I can't wait for the new Batman movie to come out. The Dark Knight was amazing :D.

Thanks, it's been a good weekend. I just watched an intense football game, although the Lions lost :(, so they're out of the playoffs.

    How was your weekend?

I still haven't seen the WD episode :$...

  18. Not Mary Jane? I know they did that in the third movie, but if the reboot starts off that way... hmm. Yeah, it will be interesting to see where that goes. It goes against so much of what Spiderman is, I think ... Were you ever into comic books/superheroes?

    He should, certainly.

Alan Rickman plays Snape perfectly, and it'll be a good scene when he dies (well staged, I mean, but sad :()

  19. I wonder who will play Mary-Jane.

Yeah, that was too bad, of course. I hope he gets more screen time in the next movies.

She is really underrated. Sweeney Todd is the only musical that I have enjoyed, I've never liked the genre. But Sweeney Todd was great, and it had a horror aspect to it :shifty:. Alan Rickman was in it too, as an added bonus.

  20. Yeah... can't really imagine him as Peter!

Snape is a great character, one of my favourites. Neville, too. Draco is probably my favourite... Molly really was the best one to kill Beatrix, she deserved it. Helena Bonham Carter played Beatrix perfectly, though (even though she was annoying), she's such a good villian. Did you see Sweeney Todd?

  21. New actors? Aww, it won't be the same, I didn't mind the originals. Interesting to see what they do with this movie. Haha, I can't imagine the new Peter in that role, you're right.

Yeah, he's very conflicted. Who's your favourite character?

Phew, sorry about that, I almost spilled the ending. Are you going to wait for the last movie or read the book first?

  22. Yeah, it's a great movie. Tobey Maguire has done... Brothers, and I can't think of others. What happened to plans for Spiderman 4, I wonder...

    Thanks, you too. :D

Hmm, I thought the 5th one was as well, because of Cho Chang, and Harry made a friendship speech at the end to Voldemort that seemed unlike him. I liked the 6th one the most (not because of the romance - you're right, it was focused a bit too much on it...) because it centered around Draco's character a lot more, and he's one of my favourites. Hmm... I'm a pretty big fan of HP, but not a huge fan, I guess... I've read the books many times over and always enjoy them...

I wonder how they will end the series in the movies. The epilogue in book seven was - wait, did you read the last book?

  23. I didn't know he directed Slumdog Millionaire as well, that was a good movie. 127 Hours looks good, but I've only ever seen James Franco in the Spiderman movies, so I keep thinking "Harry Osbourne!"

:chuckle: I can't do that, my local theatre has one screen.

I really hope I can go, but all the tickets are probably gone, so I'll just go on the weekend.

The sixth one was my favourite, it was the darkest of them all...

Are you a big fan of HP?

  24. Ahh, I have to see it soon.

Now Danny Boyle knows what worked and what didn't in the first two movies, so if he could put it all together... :awesome:

Yes, Harry Potter :D! Are you going to the midnight release? I hope to, I kind of left it late and still have to phone about tickets. Which has been your favourite movie so far?

That's pretty much the only one I'm looking forward to. I haven't heard of 127 hours. Hmmm, l'll watch the trailer right now...

    Thanks, me too.

  25. Haha, yes! I loved that part, when they were pretending to be zombies :chuckle:.

... and of course "you've got red on you" :chuckle:

Thanks, I haven't seen it yet, I was too busy cramming when I got back. As soon as I can, though... I'll tell you when I've seen it :D.

The third film... I think it'll be based in France, going by the final clip of the last movie. It'll be good! Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is directing it (um, wikipedia says he is...)

Any new movies you're wanting to see?

Your welcome, November 25th, then :p.

My weekend was pretty good, but we practiced a lot - we're playing Schindler's List at a Remembrance Day (Veterans Day) ceremony this week, so we have to sound good...
