For me it would be physics and astronomy. I'm reading Hyperspace by Michio Kaku right now since Muse mentioned it as an influence for OoS. Parallel universes, the ten dimensions, wormholes, string theory...

I love astronomy! Makes me think of Muse as well (although they are not the reason I got interested in it ). I'm hoping to be an astrophysicist/engineer or something, maybe even an astronaut one day (seriously). Or maybe work for SETI.
