I find Matt's singing style in TR more sickening than boring, actually. But yes, there are a few exceptions.

ACTUALLY I think his vocals are the best I've heard from him on this tour. So much of a nicer tone. Just listen to falsetto in the chorus for CE at Wembley to see what I mean.Yeah, I love his voice now. I'd take TR (and NSC) over Showbiz/OoS any day.
Lol I'm the complete opposite. I'd give anything for him to get his old kind of whiny vocals back. The tone now is just... I don't know. I can only take it in small doses. Too deep. Too mature. I just can't handle it. But that's just me. I know most of this forum will disagree, because his voice has 'matured for the better', but nothing will ever beat whiny Matt for me
And while I'll admit that the distortion was annoying in the earlier tours, I'll still always prefer that tone to his current one.

Origin of Symmetry in general is overrated, really. I still like it, but it's not THAT good.

Bliss is the worst song on Origin of Symmetry (not that that's saying it's horrible, because it's pretty good. Just not as good as the rest.)
Apocalypse Please is boring, and is tied with Endlessly for the worst song on Absolution.

Don't get me wrong, I love Radiohead, but at times, they're just far too boring... And depressing. Just my opinion. Sometimes songs whining about everything in general isn't good enough

If Muse wrote Everything in its right place, it would be my favourite muse song. Same goes for exit music (for a film). Saying that, muse are still better.

Try playingas an intro to The Resistance album. It goes perfect before uprising, and is what I have on my ipod now preceding it. But make sure it's this live one you play instead of the studio.

Sweet Jesus, The Resistance isn't that great. Pretty much every song on it is medicore whereas Con-Science is bloody brilliant.

The Resistance is a great album.
All songs contained in TR are basically melodious in nature. And I always salute Bellamy on this skill. While the album moves the music in similar style from start to end with various melodies among songs, it seems like cohesive as a whole. Therefore the album passes the test on structural integrity. And most importantly, the harmonies resulting from the interaction among instruments, programming as well as vocals are also excellent. And I'm all about the harmony.
