I wore my Resistance Tee today, and people seem to think the shirt's pretty cool. Then I mention Muse, and they just zone out. Why won't people listen

I'd be more openly obsessed about it, but like I said, mentioning them gets me ignored, so I zip it

Main reason why I came on the boards, really

I got no reaction whatsoever

I would be talking to them regularly, then I would subtly insert Muse into the convo, and then I would start about NSC...and no one even said cool, they just started to ignore me

I'm sooooo going to be talking about this tomarrow.

Me to friends: 'OMG GUYZZZ THERE'S A NEW MUSE SONG AND I LIKEY IT'

Them: We should've stopped her before the addiction got too far.

Ya, the beginning is kinda meh. After I got past that though, even by the first listen I loved it. I even did an epically failed kneeslide because I got so caught up in it XD

What's your opinion on NSC, then?

I just got home about an hour and a half ago, got on one thread, and it crashed on me . At least the crashiness gave me time to rock out to NSC and form an uninfluenced general opinion on it. Has it been crashing a lot through the whole day? It's crashed maybe 2-3 times since I got home.

Seriously! Some of my favorite songs ever, not just by Muse by by anyone, have needed time to grow on me. Blackout, Hoodoo, Stockholm Syndrome, Showbiz...the list goes on and on and on.

I mean, I get where the haters are coming from, and I'm fine with people not liking a song, but that doesn't mean they should accuse the people who geuininely like it. I'm not forcing myself to like it, and I don't really think anyone else is either. It's not like we're acting as if it's the best song ever

I do think that the first 30 or so seconds of the song is kinda meh, but it's like a poppy KoC. You know, if the knights were made of lots of cheese

I have one kinda-sorta friend. She's my best friend, actually, and I didn't know she was a Muser until this one time....Uprising is my cell phone ringtone, you see. Once it was ringing, and she had a mild freakout, followed by a 'you like Muse too?'. It was soooo awesome

She said she'd heard of Apocalypse Please, TOADA, TIRO, and Uprising. I was so proud that day . She isn't that big of a fan though, so whenever I bring up ANYTHING about them, she just rolls her eyes.
